Some bonds are never broken. 💙

Last July 18, House of Refuge Foundation, Inc. had the joy of welcoming back one of our former children, whom we will call "Siah" (not his real name), as he visited together with his adoptive parents.

Siah was just 8 years old when he found his forever family and began a new chapter of his life in Canada. Years later, he returned to the place he once called home not only to reconnect with the staff who were part of his journey, but also to visit old friends and relive cherished memories.

His visit was filled with warm smiles, heartfelt conversations, and happy reunions. It was a touching reminder that while adoption gives children a new beginning, the love, care, and support they receive during their early years remain a lasting part of their story.

Seeing Siah happy, confident, and thriving is one of the greatest rewards of our mission. Moments like these inspire us to continue working toward our vision of providing every child with the opportunity to grow in a safe, loving, and permanent family.

Thank you to Siah and his adoptive parents for taking the time to visit HORFI. You will always be part of the House of Refuge Foundation family, and we wish you continued happiness and success in the years ahead. ❤️🏡

Welcome to the House of Refuge Foundation, Inc. family!

We are delighted to welcome our new Social Work interns from St. Mary's College. As they begin their internship journey, they will gain meaningful hands-on experience in child welfare, family support, community engagement, and adoption-related services while working alongside our dedicated team.

Over the coming months, we hope this experience will inspire them to grow both professionally and personally as they put the values of social work into practice and make a positive impact in the lives of the children and families we serve.

Nakikiisa ang House of Refuge Foundation, Inc. sa pagdiriwang ng mahalagang ambag ng mga Pilipinong Manggagawang Panlipunan sa pagtataguyod ng katarungang panlipunan, pagprotekta sa mga sektor na nangangailangan ng higit na pag-aaruga, at pagbibigay-kapangyarihan sa mga komunidad.

Last June 14, the Social Workers of House of Refuge Foundation, Inc. proudly participated in the 4th Annual Bisigkleta & Fun Run for a Cause at Venice Canal, Taguig City.

More than a fitness activity, this event brought together advocates, partners, and child-caring professionals united by a shared commitment to the welfare and protection of children. Through every step and every pedal, we promote health, strengthen camaraderie, and support the mission of providing children with safe, loving, and nurturing families.

Together, we celebrate this year's theme: "Love Makes a Family." 🏡✨

Thank you to NACC RACCO NCR for bringing together individuals and organizations who share the vision of ensuring that every child grows up in a loving and supportive family environment.
