I realized and decided to change the name of my page into CLAP Nature this month, July 2017 . It all started while I was scanning all my collected photos and saw that all the photos had only one theme, it's all about nature and the environment. I also felt I have some purpose, that's why I'd like to help restore the beauty of our sick mother earth. And that shifting into this kind of page is I think the best way to help heal our sick earth. You see, our nature, our mother earth needs us and so are we. Isn't it our obligation to involve oneself in taking care and in the preservation of our nature, our environment, our earth? We should always remember, us, yes, man is part of nature. And his war against nature is inevitably a war against himself. It hurts to see the beauty of our nature lost it's value. The beauty that was created by God for us creatures of this earth and gave us so much joy and peace within. So before we lost sight of the beauty of our nature, can we please join hands and come to the rescue and embrace the beauty of nature the way God has created it for us. Let's act now and join the others, who's page is about the love for nature, environment, our mother earth. Well, I will and it will be my mission from now on. . . . and to help through posting more photos, quotes, articles, updates etc. . . about nature, our green earth on this page of mine with God's help. AN INVITATION TO JOIN THE EARTH HOUR 2026 | Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy is calling on all the faithful to take part in Earth Hour 2026 on Saturday, March 28, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

In his message, Archbishop Abet urged everyone to switch off their lights for one hour, describing it as “the minimum we can do—a simple act that unites us with millions of people around the world.”

More than a symbolic gesture, the good Archbishop stressed that Earth Hour is a deeper call to responsibility. It is not only about turning off lights, he said, but about awakening a renewed sense of care for our common home.

“When the lights go off, something deeper should awaken in us,” he reflected. “We begin to realize how much we consume, how much we waste, and how often we forget that this world is not ours to abuse, but a gift from God entrusted to our care.”

Through this initiative, Archbishop Abet invites all to move beyond the hour—toward a sustained commitment to stewardship, mindful living, and collective action for the protection of creation.
