Embodying the spirit of creativity, versatility, and being maka-Pilipino, the University of the Philippines Diliman Association of Clothing Technology Students only eyes those whose values align with its own. Beyond that, upholding honor and excellence, Jill Abian of UP Alyansa proves to be that and many more.

UP ACTS proudly supports Jill Abian, a member of this very organization, and her immovable goal of rising up as your University Student Council Councilor.

May she continue to represent the three values of UP ACTS, and of course, the Clothing Technologists of UP Diliman. Join her in her journey to becoming your USC Councilor for the betterment of the UP Diliman student body.

Laban para sa Komik-verse ng Bayan, Jill 🌸👚

Hala, ayan nanaman ang UP ACTS! 😱

For our ACLE this year, “Resistance and Dyes: The Filipino Experience Through Textile Arts,” we will take you on an insightful journey through the history of Shibori, a Japanese resist dyeing technique, and discuss how it may be applied into a local, Philippine context.
Pasabog, diba!? 🤩

But wait! There’s more! 🫣
Our ACLE includes not only a discussion from our members, but ALSO a talk from a guest speaker, AND a textile dyeing workshop 👀✨!

SIGWA: ACLE Cultural Night

See you sa February 24, 5-8PM sa Vinzon’s Courtyard!
