Happy Birthday, Gov Vero! 🥳💙

Today, we celebrate the birthday of our District Governor, DG Veronica Ho Yu AKS 🦸‍♀️, who championed youth service since she started her career in Rotary. Gov Vero, as known by many, served as Chairperson for the Youth Service Committee for several years before taking a greater role in both the District and Rotary International level.

Gov Vero set the standards high and made us feel her love for the community, especially for the youth. And so, we wish Gov Vero a very cheerful birthday today.

Fellowship Dinner with RAC ITE College East-Overseas

Welcome back to the Philippines, Rotaract Club of ITE College East-Overseas. This club is a school-based Rotaract Club in Rotary International District 3310 (Singapore). For 19 years, this club has visited the Philippines to conduct their Community Service Trip in partnership with the Rotary Club of Loyola Heights.

On 27 September 2025, the Rotary Club of Loyola Heights hosted the Fellowship Dinner where Youth Service Chair Chivas Ayroso, District Rotaract Representative Veronique Bianca Lolarga and District Rotaract Chair Hasem Baladjay participated.

During the dinner, there are various performances including the cultural dance of the Interact Club of Jose P Laurel High School, modern dance cover of RAC ITE College East-Overseas, and the Rotarians and school officials from ITE College.

The Fellowship Dinner was also attended by the Pilipinas Multi-District Information Organization (PH MDIO) Chairperson Stephen Ferrera.

The visiting group is expected to continue their week-long community service in various provinces in the Philippines, through the hosting of RC Loyola Heights led by UFG President Ruel ‘Knicks’ Nicolas.

We're going UP! UP! UP!

Planning starts now! The Rotary International District 3780 Quezon City, Philippines and the Rotary Club of Bagong Silangan, host club, started the initial planning for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) 2026. This meeting was held at the Rotary Center 3780 on 17 September 2025.

The host club presented the program and logistical requirements and strategies to the district team. As a team, the district leaders seek an opportunity to help the host club; including the supplemental funding, coordination with the DEPED Quezon City, preparation of information kit, and registration.

RYLA 2026 is scheduled for February 2026 and we will welcome foreign Rotaractors and/or Interactors in our event.

As the Rotary International District 3780 Quezon City, Philippines Interact continues, the Interact glowed this afternoon as they showcase their talent and wit during the breakout session and intermission number.

The DISLAS 2025, with the theme United We Lead, inspired interactors to see the beauty of leadership through Rotary.

We thank the Rotary Club of Bagong Silangan for hosting this event led by Unite for Good President JENNIFER CHANCO. This year’s DISLAS was chaired by Charter President BEE FAROLAN.

We also thank the District Team for making this possible. We express our gratitude to District Governor VERONICA YU, for gracing the event and supporting this learnig program through the district youth fund.

HAPPENING NOW! 🔔

The Interact District Learning Assembly (DISLAS) and Induction 2025 is currently happening at the Quezon City Science High School.

This is attended by over 250 Interact and Rotary leaders all over Quezon City.

The Interact Club and District Officers took their oath as the new leaders of their respective clubs this Unite for Good Term. The induction was led by District Governor Veronica Yu and District Interact Representative Jhemil Lapuz 💚
