CMLI Junior Council Alumni Association

CMLI Junior Council Alumni Association An organization comprised of a dynamic pool of leaders who advocate the involvement, empowerment, and leadership of the FIlipino Youth.

Established in 1993, the Junior Council Alumni Association (JCAA) has been a proponent of youth service under the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. It is a non-profit organization comprised of a dynamic pool of youth leaders who advocate the involvement, empowerment, and leadership of the Filipino youth. Using their experiences, these achieved college undergraduates and successful full-time prof

essionals voluntarily commit their time to continue their service to the youth beyond their terms as Junior Council officers. The CMLI JCAA hosts training seminars and workshops for incumbent Junior Council officers to equip them with the essential skills to implement national and regional conventions, conferences, competitions, debate tournaments, and outreach programs. Through the CMLI Organization Training and Development Program, the CMLI JCAA offers specially crafted, needs-based training programs to youth organizations and student councils from secondary and tertiary educational institutions. Activities offered during training engagements range from workshops, facilitation of team-building activities, event management, and event partnerships. The CMLI JCAA's flagship project is the grandest, most prominent, and most sought-after choral competition in the country - Voices in Harmony: The Annual Awit-Tagisan ng Batang Pilipino. Through our activities, the CMLI JCAA serves as an avenue for former CMLI student leaders nationwide to give back to the community.
