Delivering Innovative Humanitarian Learning Solutions
To fulfill its mandate in being an institution that fosters innovation and a brand of excellence in capacity development, CODE-NGO agreed to work with the Humanitarian Leadership Academy (HLA) as its exclusive affiliate in the Philippines.
HLA is an international humanitarian capacity-building and a social enterprise institution based in the United Kingdom. Consequently, CODE-NGO created the Center for Humanitarian Learning and Innovation (CHLI) to take on the work of the former Philippines Academy Center.
CHLI will serve as a one-stop shop for innovative humanitarian learning solutions and services to individuals and institutions working in humanitarian contexts including local government units (LGU), micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and cooperatives, civil society organizations (CSOs), academic institutions, learning providers, among others.
CHLI capitalizes on CODE-NGO’s expansive network and extensive experience in capacity building, localization of humanitarian action, community-based and participatory DRRM, coupled with HLA’s expertise in developing innovative and contextualized learning solutions for different audiences in the Philippines and globally.
