These upbeat hearts have answered the call of serving and supporting the province they call home through the organization, while forming strong bonds with their fellow Pangasinenses pursuing their dreams in Diliman. The members’ cooperation and passion will keep the spring alive—as long as the flow moves forward, so shall Subol’s endeavors be unceasingly realized.

These past few weeks, many parts of the Philippines have been experiencing 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥, resulting in floods, traffic, and disruptions in the lives of Filipinos due to property damage and even fatalities.

Even with these adversities, Filipinos still find ways to make the best of it, highlighting our 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 and 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. But ask yourself: “Why do we really experience these hardships?” Is it really because of the weather, or a 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 from those in power?

As the popular saying goes—“the first step is always the hardest.” No matter how long or treacherous a journey may be, the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩 always seems to be the most daunting. However, it also gives you the courage to persist and see your journey through.

With a new academic year starting, many students already feel the 𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 even if we still have a few days of vacation left. This fear of what may come results in 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 things that have not even happened yet which can promote negative things such as self-doubt. This serves as a reminder to always 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲, so that you can see these upcoming challenges as a tool for you to grow, become stronger, and be a better version of yourself.
