𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐑.𝐄.𝐀.𝐃.𝐘.: 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝, 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 💡

Held on November 30, 2025, we successfully conducted 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐑.𝐄.𝐀.𝐃.𝐘., an initiative focused on strengthening disaster awareness and preparedness among the youth of our community—specifically our GABAY scholars. The activity was led by our resource speaker, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐥𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐥𝐚, who effortlessly shared his knowledge and expertise in the field of Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM). 👏

In a short span of time, we were able to learn and gather essential measures that we, the youth, should be aware of. Through an insightful discussion and interactive on-the-spot activities, we were empowered to 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴—not to instill fear, but to strengthen our capacity to protect ourselves and the people around us.

With the awareness of the recent events in our country, it is important for us to 𝙆𝙉𝙊𝙒 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙍 so we can lessen its impact, or hope for a future with 𝙉𝙊 𝘿𝙄𝙎𝘼𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙍. Because here in GABAY, we believe that 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮. 🫵

𝐈𝐒𝐍’𝐓 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝑳𝑶𝑽𝑬𝑳𝒀? 👩✨

An appreciation post and message to 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐬, our 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐘 and 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐫. For the past three years, from 2022 to this year, she dedicated her time, energy, and heart to serving our beloved community with her passion and commitment.

Just like her name 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚 she has been nothing but kind and genuinely caring to everyone in GABAY. Ate Lovely has always been someone we could count on—not just because she was our President, but because she is also a friend and a sister to each of us. She has been 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 who always puts the welfare of the youth first, and her hard work truly made a difference for all of us. 🙇‍♀️💗

Now, in union, we say “𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑨𝒕𝒆 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒚!” for everything you have done for GABAY and PYC over the years. You didn’t just show your leadership but also built a friendship to many of us. From your GABAY family, may this assure you that your hard works and dedication have not gone unnoticed, and we truly appreciate all the time and effort you’ve given. 💌

𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐲 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟐𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 💙

An enchanted journey happened on October 5, 2025, at the Celebrity Club Capitol Hills, Diliman, Quezon City, wherein PamBuhay Youth Council gathered sponsored young leaders and members from its youth organizations across different communities for a day full of learning, inspiration, connection, and growth. With the theme “𝑩𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑾𝑶𝑵: 𝑹𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒑𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉, 𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒇𝒖𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆,” the conference was organized by the dedicated and hardworking officers and representatives of the council.

Throughout the day, we took part in sessions that taught us many important things. The event was divided into four sessions, covering these topics:

At the PYC Youth Conference, we really had an ✨𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈✨ experience. We, the GABAY participants, came together to deepen our faith, connect with fellow youth, and discover our potential to make a difference. Filled with inspiring messages, engaging activities, and unforgettable moments, we left feeling 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝?? ??𝐨 𝐥𝐞??𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐮??𝐩??𝐬𝐞. 🌟

The conference reminded us that 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: from managing our finances wisely, caring for our mental well-being, and preparing for our careers, to embracing technology responsibly. ☝️🧠

𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫 🗣️

On Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Commission on Human Rights, Diliman, Quezon City, we shone a light on mental health. With the words and lessons from our resource person, Mrs. Teresita “Tess” R. Latoza, we were able to challenge our minds and push toward a deeper understanding of what others often overlook and disregard.

With her empowering words, “𝗠𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗸𝗮 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗯𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 ’𝘆𝗼, 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗶 𝗺𝗼.” we were once again reminded that 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 ‘𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙘𝙚’ 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙝, and moving away from situation that brings nothing but damage to you is a form of self-care. 💌

Through this timely and relevant seminar, especially for us youth, we hope that together we can break the stigma, foster understanding, and create a supportive community where everyone feels empowered to prioritize their mental well-being. 🫂

Remember, y(our) mind matters, and you are never alone on this journey. May we continue to inspire each other to prioritize not just our physical health but our mental health as well. ❤️‍🩹

"𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 🌱”

𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬, together with the QCNE Pambuhay Scholar Representative, organized a meaningful training session on 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 (𝗖𝗬𝗘𝗣𝗣) and 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 (𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗖) last Sunday, September 28, at the Commission on Human Rights in Diliman. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Youth Reporters, the participants—who are scholars—learned about the basic rights of children, youth, and the elderly, as well as how to stay safe online.

The entire training was a blend of 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 🌟 creating a fun and educational atmosphere. Witnessing the excitement in participants' eyes as they grasped new concepts and their eagerness to share their new acquired knowledge was truly rewarding💡

With the training, GABAY now feels confident about implementing the CYEPP and OSAEC within our respective areas, and invites our youth members to join in our learning journey. Stay tuned for upcoming opportunities to learn and grow with us! 🎒

Naging makulay at masaya ang araw noong 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟎, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, nang dumalo tayo sa pambungad ng 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐠𝐨 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 ngayong taon. Kabilang ang GABAY sa mga youth organization na naging bahagi ng munting parada 🌈 Hydro-Color Fun💧 pati na rin sa panonood ng SK Youth-Yugan Dance Competition 🕺💃

Mula sa naging masayang karanasan, tayo nagpapasalamat sa buong konseho ng Sangguniang Kabataan Barangay Payatas at mga kaibigang naging bahagi rin sa makulay na selebrasyon. Ikinatutuwa natin ang pagkakataong makasama at maimbitahan sa espesyal na pagtitipon na nagbigay kulay at sigla sa kabataan ng ating komunidad. 🌟

𝗦𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮 𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗮, 𝗻𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻.

Sa pagdating ng mga bagyo na siyang nagpahirap sa ating mga ka-barangay, marami ang pamilyang walang masilungan at kinailangang tulungan.

Ngayong araw, sa kolaborasyon ni 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 Boots Dela Cruz kasama ang 𝗚𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗬, nagbahagi tayo ng kabutihang loob sa mga taong nasalanta at kasalukuyang naninirahan sa evacuation facilities. Nagtungo tayo sa tatlong center upang mag-abot ng tulong, hindi lamang sa pamamagitan ng mga pagkain kundi pati na rin sa kaunting kasiyahan, ngiti, at mga aktibidad na siyang muling nagbigay sigla sa mamamayang nasalanta.

Tayo ay nagbahagi ng 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗸𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼 sa mga bata at nagkaroon ng mga 𝗻𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘄𝗶𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗼 katulad ng 𝙋𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙃𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙥 𝙃𝙤𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙮! at 𝙎𝙞𝙤𝙢𝙖𝙞, 𝙎𝙞𝙤𝙥𝙖𝙤, 𝙎𝙪𝙢𝙖𝙣, na siya namang ikinatuwa ng mga nanay na nakibahagi.

Ilang araw na tayong walang tigil na inuulan dulot ng , at pinalakas pa ito ng Habagat. Habang binabaha ang mga kalsada at nilalamig ang paligid, huwag sana nating hayaang lamigin din ang ating puso para sa kapwa, komunidad, at kalikasan. 🙏💗

𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻: Hindi man natin kayang pigilan ang bagyo, kaya nating pigilan ang pinsala sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa, disiplina, at malasakit. 🫂🤝

Manatiling 𝗹𝗶𝗴𝘁𝗮𝘀, maging 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮, at huwag kalimutang alagaan hindi lang ang sarili, kundi pati ang kapwa at ating mga alagang hayop. 🫶🐾

Ngayong 𝐇𝐮𝐥𝐲𝐨 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, matagumpay na naisagawa ang pamamahagi ng school supplies sa mga kabataang mag-aaral ng ating komunidad. Ang mga kagamitang ito ay buong pusong ipinagkaloob ng 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗴𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗮𝘁𝗮𝘀, sa pangunguna ni 𝗦𝗞 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗱 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼. 🤍
