Contents of revised guidelines related to allowing changes in workplaces within a region

โ–ก (Region classification) Considering geographical proximity, the number of workplaces with employment permits, and foreign workers, etc., 3~4 metropolitan cities and provinces are divided into 5 regions (current status maintained)

Region 1: ใ…‡ Metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon),
Region 2: Gyeongnam area (Busan, Gyeongnam, Ulsan), Gyeongbuk,
Region 3:Gangwon area (Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Gangwon),
Region 4: Jeolla, Jeju area (Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, Jeju),
Region 5: Chungcheong area (Daejeon, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Sejong)

โ–ก (Scope of referral) For applicants for โ€œchange of workplaceโ€, the principle is to referral to a workplace within the region where the workplace that received the initial employment permit (new, re-entry special case) is located
ใ…‡ Referral to a workplace outside the metropolitan area is possible if the foreign worker so desires
- Referral to a non-metropolitan area after moving from the metropolitan area to the non-metropolitan area and referral to the metropolitan area from the non-metropolitan area is prohibited
ใ…‡ If there is no referral for 1 month after applying for โ€œChange of Workplaceโ€ for all industries, referral to other non-metropolitan areas* (excluding the metropolitan area) is possible
(Previously allowed only for construction, service, and shipbuilding industries โ†’ expanded to all industries)
- If referral is not received due to personal reasons such as temporary departure from the country during the job search period, movement between regions is restricted at the discretion of the local employment and labor office
โ–ก (Method of referral) The local office in charge of the workplace where the initial employment permit was received will referral to a region according to the โ€œScope of referralโ€ above
ใ…‡ Recommendation (designation) of a region within the referral region considering the desired job search conditions of the foreign worker applying for โ€œChange of Workplaceโ€, the status of the workplace seeking employment, etc.
โ–ก (Enforcement date) โ€˜25. 2. 7.
ใ…‡ Applies to โ€œChange of Workplaceโ€ applied for or processed after the effective date of the revised guidelines
- However, for โ€œNew Employment Permitโ€, a certificate must be submitted for the first time in 25 years, and for โ€œSpecial Re-entry Employment Permitโ€, a certificate must be submitted for foreign workers who applied for (or are subject to) after the effective

Upang makapag-request ng renewal, kinakailangan pong tiyakin na ang mga sumusunod:
1. Expired na ang validity sa job roster;
2. Valid pa ang EPS Examination (within 2 years after EPS Passer announcement); at
3. Hindi nagkaroon ng employer/contract

PLANO NG MOEL PARA SA EPS NGAYONG 2025

Maliban sa dami ng pwedeng bigyan ng visa para sa mga dayuhan na magtatrabaho sa bansa bilang EPS workers ay inanunsyo din ng MOEL o Ministry of Employment and Labor ang plano para sa mas maayos na pagtatrabaho.

Noong ika-10 ng Enero ay dinalo ang "2025 Work Plan" ng MOEL sa Government Complex sa lungsod ng Sejong.

Una. para sa tuloy-tuloy na pagtatrabaho ng mga "sincere workers" ay plano na tanggalin ang "re-entry after departure " o ์ถœ๊ตญ ํ›„ ์žฌ์ž…๊ตญ. Ito ay nangyayari pagkatapos ng 4 na taon at 10 buwan na pagtatrabaho at pagpirma muli ng kontrata. Ayon sa MOEL ay naaabala ang mga kumpanya dahil sa pag-alis ng empleyado.

Pangalawa, para sa mga kwalipikadong trabahador na makapagtrabaho ng lagpas sampung taon ay gagawing tig-3 taon ang kontrata.

Pangatlo, balak dagdagan ang pagtanggap ng aplikasyon ng mga kumpanya ng mangagawa mula apat hangang lima sa isang taon. Ito yung tinatawag na "massive recruitment" na kasalukuyan ay apat. Kung matuloy ay magiging limang beses na ang "massive recruitment".
