Consultation and Validation Workshop on Price Integration and Governance (PIG): A Unified Hog Cost Structure Model 🐖

The Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines Inc. (ProPork), represented by President Eric M. Harina, participated in the Consultation and Validation Workshop organized by the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) on September 10, 2026.

The workshop brought together key stakeholders from the government and private sector to discuss the proposed unified hog cost structure, actual production costs, farmgate prices, and other factors affecting hog production economics.

ProPork remains committed to supporting collaborative and data-driven initiatives toward a more transparent, resilient, and sustainable Philippine hog industry.

CEVIPPCO–PROPORK: Giving Back. Empowering Farmers. Strengthening the Industry.

The MOA Signing and Ceremonial Distribution of Swine Breeders was successfully held at the New Carcar City Hall.

This meaningful initiative of CEViPPCO, in partnership with its mother federation PROPORK, aims to give back to fellow pork producers and empower farmers through the distribution of productive breeding stock.

🐷 CEVIPPCO–PROPORK GIVES BACK TO FELLOW PORK PRODUCERS!

The Central Visayas Pork Producers Association (CEVIPPCO) in partnership with its mother federation ProPork, gives back to fellow pork producers by providing 400 heads of free swine breeders to FCA-affiliated farmer-beneficiaries across Cebu.

This initiative is a testament to our commitment to empowering farmers, strengthening the swine industry, and building a more sustainable future for Cebu’s pork producers. 🇵🇭🐖

A Meaningful and Productive Bi-Monthly Meeting 🐷💙

The Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines, Inc. (ProPork) successfully held its Bi-Monthly Meeting on August 26, 2026, bringing together industry professionals and members for a meaningful exchange of knowledge, experiences, and insights.

The meeting featured an important discussion on “Infectious & Non-Infectious Causes of Neonatal Diarrhea,” with an insightful presentation by our speaker, Allan Salazar, DVM, DPCSP.

Pagpupugay sa mga Katuwang sa Food Safety at Proteksyon ng Lokal na Hog Industry. 🐷🇵🇭

Binigyang-pugay ang mga sumusunod na kinatawan mula sa Philippine National Police – Eastern Police District, Marikina City Police Station, Department of Agriculture – National Meat Inspection Service, Regional Technical Office IV-A, at Lipa City Veterinary Office bilang pagkilala sa kanilang mahalagang ambag at pakikipagtulungan sa mga operasyon laban sa unsafe at ilegal na karne.

Kasama rin sa mga katuwang ng operasyon ang mga PNP personnel na nagbigay ng suporta sa isinagawang operasyon.

Nakibahagi rin sa pagkilala ang mga opisyal ng Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines (ProPork) na sina Mr. Rolando Tambago – Vice Chairman at Mr. Eric Harina – President.

Ang pagkilala ay pinangunahan ni Cong. Nikki ng Agap Partylist, kasama ang mga opisyal ng ProPork, bilang pasasalamat sa kanilang serbisyo, pakikipagtulungan, at patuloy na suporta sa pagsusulong ng food safety at proteksyon ng lokal na hog industry.
