Tampok din sa SWSS 2026 ang The ABCs of PFA: An Introduction to Psychological First Aid (PFA) na naglalayong bigyan ang mga kalahok ng paunang kaalaman at kasanayan sa pagbibigay ng PFA sa mga indibidwal. Makakasama si Assoc. Prof Jowima Ang Reyes ng Department of Social Work, CSWCD at former Director ng Ugnayan ng Pahinungod-Diliman.
Kaya naman, bilang mga binhi ng paglaya sikapin nating umusbong bilang mga manggagawang panlipunang mapagkalinga! Magkita-kita tayo sa April 24, 2026, ganap na 8:30 AM sa Bulwagang Tandang Sora, CSWCD para sama-samang hubugin at pandayin ang ating kasanayan sa PFA. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ๐ŸŒฑ

During Women's Month, we recognize that womenโ€™s health has historically been understudied in medical research. Conditions like endometriosis affect millions, yet awareness and research attention have often lagged.

With the midterms season coming up, when many students experience increased stress and anxiety, it's important to talk about mental well-being. More than that, mental health is a crucial part of building strong communities and healthy families. We, UP Students for Community Health, believe that supporting mental well-being is essential for public health.

Despite President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.โ€™s declaration of February 25 as a special working day, and despite attempts of erasure, various groups are holding rallies and activities across the country to commemorate the revolution, including one at the People Power Monument along EDSA, those led by the Trillion Peso March Movement, and another at the EDSA Shrine. Today, we remember the courage of Filipinos who stood for democracy and honor the people power that restored the country's freedom.

The Philippines marks the anniversary of the 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution on Wednesday, February 25, exactly 40 years since the ouster of dictator Ferdinand E. Marcos. UP Students for Community Health joins the celebration and stands with the nation in the fight for human rights.

National Intellectual Disability Week 2026 ๐Ÿ’™

In the Philippines, policies recognize the rights of persons with intellectual disabilities, yet many families still face barriers to accessible services, early support, and meaningful participation.

True inclusion happens when our systems are built to include everyone from the start.

Thus, we move beyond recognition and call for stronger, more inclusive structures where dignity, equity, and participation are not privileges, but guarantees.
