Before claiming to be the standard, let us first recognize and honor those who paved the way, amplified voices, and worked tirelessly to uplift the LGBTQIA+ community long before we arrived.
True leadership is not measured by titles or recognition alone, but by humility, gratitude, and the willingness to acknowledge the shoulders upon which we stand. Let us continue to celebrate the pioneers, advocates, organizers, and allies whose efforts have made our community stronger, more visible, and more empowered.
As we move forward, may we never forget our history, respect our legacy, and support one another in creating even greater opportunities for future generations.
