About Us
BAHAGHARI-Kulay ng Malayang Indibidwal (a.k.a. - Escopa III Pride Council) is a non-profit organization duly registered at Securities and Exchange Commission and National Youth Commission based in Barangay Escopa III Project 4, Quezon City. Since 2018, BAHAGHARI-Kulay ng Malayang Indibidwal has been championing the pride, exceptional talents, diversity, and the culture of the LGBTQ+ comm
unity and families from Barangay Escopa III and beyond. Today, it continues to make an impact in the society by promoting HIV/Aids awareness, partnering with local government units, local government officials, marketing small enterprises by helping them with their business plans thru our marketing professionals, pursuing volunteerism, selling co-LGBTQ+ member merchandize/service for medical assistance, relief operations in case of fortuitous events, providing food as "salu-salo" during All Souls Day, Christmas, and New Year's eve, training new leaders within LGBTQ+ community, and most of all celebrating PRIDE and the Filipino culture. Despite our financial limitation and other small deficiencies, we have managed to grow and continue with the purpose of civic engagement to uplift the image of the LGBTQ+ community here in the Philippines. We are an unstoppable force in the battle against discrimination, bigotry, and any struggles in building a world of equality in which LGBTQ+ people can live with peace, diversity, and celebration of insurmountable joy.
