Happiest birthday to our dearest Princess 🙂‍↕️, Nicolette 🙂‍↔️, who doesn’t need someone charming because she can charm everyone (????) all on her own! 🤔🩷👑

Minsan Princess, madalas mapapa-“Ma’am, yes, Ma’am!”

Stay 𝚏𝚞𝚗𝚗𝚢, 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚢, 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚐, and, of course, 𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖆𝖙𝖎𝖑𝖊, 𝑀𝒶𝒹𝒶𝓂 𝒫𝓇𝒾𝓃𝒸𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝒩𝒾𝒸𝑜𝓁𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒! 👑🫡 We hope your day is filled with all the things you love (and hopefully, more books to read before you eventually sell them 🫰🏻😚)

Maligayang bati! 🥳 We L-O-V-E you! 🧐😝

Sincerely,
Your Cwm Zena’na Family 🌈🏠

Is this you?

✅ YES NA YES when it comes to our #1 fossil enthusiast 🐚 (magsieve ka na raw sabi ni doc), #2 tagger at ao3 📖 na may 3 countries of choice for her frequent vpn shenanigans 🇯🇵🇸🇬🇳🇱

Despite her RBF, she’s a big softie who always has your back 🥰 mapa-gala, Chagee, or whatever your trip! Her composed demeanor 🧘‍♀️ (that breaks only when faced with her fave vtuber stream and anything fossil-related) calms even the stormiest seas and anxious hearts 🫂 Just one big bear hug from her, and suddenly everything’s going to be okay 💗

Di na namin sasabihin na hope you enjoyed your day because of course, you spent it with us (wag mo sabihin di ka nag-enjoy 😠). Instead, we wish na your hair stays healthy 💇‍♀️ as you go through ur “anong magandang kulay?” sa hair phase (purple 💜), and sana your pe with THE miss hidilyn diaz becomes your stepping stone towards your weightlifting era 🏋️‍♀️

Tara, Mahjong? 🀄️

✨A New Chapter Begins: Meet This Year's UP Cwm Zena'na Scholar ✨

The University of the Philippines Cwm Zena'na Scholarship Program Committee is proud to announce the newest recipient of the UP Cwm Zena'na Scholarship for academic year 2026-2027, chosen after a thorough and thoughtful selection process.

Ms. Maica Mae C. Guino, a third-year Geology student at the UP National Institute of Geological Sciences, has been selected as this year's scholar. Her path into the field wasn't one she had long planned; like many graduating high school students, she chose Geology as a practical decision rather than a lifelong calling, and that choice grew into a field she has come to value deeply.

As she progressed through the program, Maica came to see geology not just as the study of rocks and minerals, but as a field closely tied to how natural processes affect communities. This understanding shaped her interest in disaster risk reduction, and she hopes to contribute to efforts that help Filipino communities become better prepared and more resilient.

Consistent with the organization's objectives to strengthen and support national development through science, Cwm Zena'na has always believed in the potential of Filipina geoscientists, and this scholarship helps turn that potential into reality.

To everyone who has offered their support to this program, we extend our heartfelt appreciation and sincere gratitude. As we move into the next academic year, we continue to rely on your invaluable support to help us reach our funding goal.
