Querubin-Hajar, M.D., is a cardiologist and Director of Publications and Executive Coordinator for Research at Heart Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar. She is a natural born Filipino and married to a Qatari cardiologist, who was a former Minister of Health in Qatar. Rachel dreamed of making a difference in the lives of her less fortunate fellow Filipinos. She established the Rachel Pacion Querubin Foundation, Inc. initially to support the education of academically deserving but economically disadvantaged Filipino youth. Rachel always believed that education is life’s greatest equalizer. She hopes that the RPQ Foundation will contribute to the betterment of marginalized and underserved Filipino families and communities.
