Created on 25 November 2008 with initial support from Save the Children Sweden, CRC Asia was formally registered as an organization in August 2012. Today, CRC Asia is composed of 16 member organizations from Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam:
