SEPTEMBER | Basic Education and Literacy Month

This month, we celebrate the importance of education and literacy because learning isn’t just about books, grades, or classrooms. It’s about gaining knowledge, building confidence, and creating opportunities for a better future.

Let’s continue to learn, share what we know, and help others grow along the way. After all, every lesson can make a difference. 🌱

Not every struggle is visible. Sometimes, the person who seems okay is the one silently carrying something heavy.

This September, let’s make time to 𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒄𝒌 𝒊𝒏, 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒃𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆. 🫂
You don’t always need the perfect words. Sometimes, simply saying “𝑲𝒖𝒎𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒂 𝒌𝒂?” and genuinely listening can make someone feel a little less alone.

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” — Seneca

The chapter of graduates of S.Y. 2025 - 2026 has come to an end, but they did not end it with just academic awards but also with the excellent leadership that focuses on the welfare of the public. The Rotaract family would like to congratulate you for your hard work and dedication both in your academics and for this organization; the impact that you have made will always be remembered as you move forward towards another chapter.

Even after your graduation, the memories, friendship, hardships, values, and your legacy will continue to inspire those members that will follow your steps and will continue to guide you as you follow a new path. Your passion for leadership does not end here, it will only grow as you continue to thread on your new beginnings.

Once a Rotaractor, Always a Rotaractor.

Heart in Action | A Day Shaped by Children’s Wander and Joy

A memorable day driven with service was led by two organizations, the Rotaract Club of Gardner College Diliman and the Library of Gardner College Diliman, wherein they spent the day connecting with the children through fun activities, exciting stories, and vibrant music at Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City. Every shared experience was a shared joy with the children, turning this moment into a memory that they will carry on.

This outreach was filled with a warm and welcoming environment as the program filled with the children's smiles, curiosity, learning, and adventurous side as they played a set of different games: tracing the letters, coloring, guessing the animal sound, and trip to Jerusalem.

More than an event, this day has been shaped for the children — for their laughter and exploration. With each smile formed on the children's face, it makes the effort of each organization that collaborated worth it, because every child deserved a smile!
