We all have our moments, don’t we? Sometimes disagreements happen between fellow members. But here’s the thing: don’t let a few Rotarians put you off Rotary.

This post isn’t about tearing down our wonderful organisation, it’s about being real.

In life, we’re not always going to see eye-to-eye with everyone. Some people will challenge the way we think or do things, and that’s okay. In an organisation of 1.2 million people, there will always be different perspectives, different styles, and yes, even some friction. (As District Governor I feel more like a referee or umpire lol)

But the heart of Rotary, the friendships, the service, the global impact is so much bigger than any single disagreement.

Don’t let a few difficult moments overshadow the incredible good we achieve together.
