Nagsagawa ang Alsa Diliman, kasama ang mga organisasyon ng Bagong Alyansa Makabayan, ng isang Black Friday Protest sa OCS Market na may kasamang sayaw ng Hawak Mo Ang Jeep upang ipanawagan ang pagpapababa ng presyo ng langis at pangunahing bilihin at pagbasura sa pahirap na mga batas kagaya ng Oil Deregulation Law, VAT at Excise Tax sa langis. Panahon na upang isigaw at iindak ang ating pagtutol sa gyerang nilulunsad ng US-Israel sa Iran na nagtutulak sa pagtaas ng presyo ng langis. Kasama ang Alsa Dil at ang mga maralitang komunidad sa paggunita ng Pandaigdigang Araw ng Paggawa ngayong Mayo Uno para ipaglaban ang pagpapataas ng sahod hanggang sa Php1,200 Family Living Wage lalo sa harap ng pandaigdigang pang-ekonomikong krisis!

TANGGALIN ANG MGA NAKAPOSTENG GWARDIYA AT ITULOY ANG KONSULTASYONG KUMPLETO SA MAMAMAYAN NG POOK AGUINALDO AT AREA 17!

Kamakailan, namataan ang limang tent at mga nakaposteng armadong gwardiya sa paligid ng Pook Aguinaldo para sa 'monitoring' at para sa itatayong bike lane sa erya. Napag-alaman ng Alsa Dil na bahagi ito ng proyektong SGD Farm ng Unibersidad ng Pilipinas sa erya.

Naninindigan ang Alsa Diliman na sa anumang proyekto sa UP at Diliman, kailangang kasama ang komunidad ng maralitang lungsod sa konsultasyon at pagbubuo ng plano. Hindi basta mga nakatiwangwang na lupa ang mga tatayuan ng proyekto ng UP, bagkus kinabibilangan ito ng maralitang lungsod na naging bahagi na rin ng komunidad ng UP sa matagal na panahon. Marami sa residente ng Pook Aguinaldo ay naging mga drayber ng jeep ng UP, manggagawa sa UP, vendors, at iba pa. Karapatan din ng maralitang lungsod ang katiyakan sa paninirahan.

Nanawagan ang Alsa Diliman ng isang malawakang konsultasyon sa pagitan ng UP Admin at mamamayan ng Pook Aguinaldo at Area 17 bago ang anumang galawan sa erya. Kasama rito ang pagtanggal sa mga armadong pwersa na nagdudulot lamang ng pangamba at tensyon sa mga residente. Kung kagaya nga ito ng sinasabi ng OVPD sa mga pulong na unang isinasagawa na wala pa ngang plano kaya sila ay nagkokonsulta, dapat wala rin ang mga gwardiya na ito.

Sa pangmatagalan, dapat kasama ang mga maralitang komunidad sa Diliman sa mga mapa at plano ng Unibersidad. Isulong ang people's plan na tunay na kinakatawan ang pangangailangan ng buong komunidad ng UP!

Alyansa ng mga samahan sa diliman (AlsaDil) support for the Councilor bid of Lorevie "Lory" Caalaman in the coming May elections.

We believe that when elected, Caalaman will uphold the principles of good governance that our district needs. Her track records as Vice Chairperson of Kabataan Partylist - National Capital Region and Deputy Secretary-General of Makabayan - National Capital Region show utmost commitment to serving the welfare of all sectors, especially the youth and vendors.
