See you on September 19

🌊 CLEAN SEAS START WITH US. RESILIENT COMMUNITIES START WITH ACTION.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources – National Capital Region (DENR-NCR) invites everyone to be part of the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) 2026, a global movement that brings communities together to protect our seas and coastal ecosystems.

Guided by this year’s theme, “Clean Seas for Resilient Communities,” the ICC reminds us that a cleaner ocean means more than a beautiful coastline. It means healthier marine ecosystems, protected livelihoods, and communities that are better equipped to face environmental challenges.

And making a difference can start with something as simple as showing up, lending a hand, and picking up what doesn’t belong in our waters. 🧤🌊

📝 ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Join DENR-NCR and fellow environmental advocates in turning concern into action. Gather your family, friends, colleagues, students, organizations, and communities and be part of this collective effort for our seas.

𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐏-𝐄𝐂𝐒𝐌𝐒𝐉 | 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 🚨🩹

On September 12, SKEP-ECSMSJ took part in the 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 and 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 at Saint Andrew's Theological Seminary, held in partnership with Virginia Theological Seminary and Barangay Kalusugan for the 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴.

It was a valuable day of learning and building skills that can help us respond when emergencies and disasters strike. As a church community, we believe that preparing ourselves and learning how to assist others is also a way of serving our community. 🙏

Our sincere gratitude goes out to all who made this training possible:
- Program Head Ben Andrew Ngaya-an
- Dean Gloria Mapangdol and the SATS staff
- Kapitan Rocky Rabanal, Kagawad Christopher Serrano, Kagawad Erick Hara, and the other Barangay Kalusugan officials
- Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office instructors Sir Christan Correos, Sir Bonifacio Tacuban, and Sir Guillermo Dizon

Thank you for giving us your time, knowledge, and skills. We sincerely value your efforts in helping our community become better prepared and ready to respond in times of need.
