Today, we successfully conducted a Medical Mission and Brigada Eskwela under the leadership of UFG President Ricsie Solis, together with President-Elect Erwin Cocoy Medina and the dedicated members of the Rotary Club of Talipapa.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Councilor Doc Ellie Juan for providing free lugaw, free massage services, and free haircuts for our participants. We also sincerely thank Councilor Cocoy Medina for generously providing lomi and siopao for everyone who attended.

Our appreciation likewise goes to the Talipapa Elite High Flyers Eagles Club, led by President Teodolfo “Jhun” Galgana, for their valuable support and partnership. Special thanks to Electron College for providing free medical check-ups, and to PhilHealth YAKAP Registration for their assistance throughout the event.

We also express our sincere gratitude to Placido Del Mundo Elementary School and its Principal, Rosalito R. De Roda, for their support and partnership during the Brigada Eskwela activity.

Together, through service, teamwork, and compassion, we continue to make a positive impact in our community.

Congratulations to Quezon City Mayor Ma. Josefina “Joy” Belmonte for being selected by Rotary International as a recipient of the prestigious 2025-2026 Excellence in Service to Humanity Award!

This global recognition is reserved for non-Rotarians who demonstrate exemplary humanitarian service that aligns with the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.” Mayor Belmonte joins a distinguished group, as this honor is awarded to no more than 150 individuals worldwide every year who have made a lasting, positive difference in their communities.

The Rotary International District 3780 family is incredibly proud of her for her unwavering dedication to the people of Quezon City and her commitment to uplifting humanity through consistent, compassionate leadership.

Last May 9, 2026, our Rotary Club officers proudly attended the Club Leadership Learning Seminar together with President Ricsie Solis Ry2025-2026 and Incoming President Erwin rey "Cocoy" Medina Ry2026-2027, strengthening our leadership, fellowship, and commitment to Service Above Self.

The Rotary Club of Talipapa, led by President Ricsie Solis, successfully turned over a shredder to Barangay Talipapa through its Punong Barangay, Atty. Eric Juan, and donated a computer set to the Tandang Sora Health Center, represented by Dr. Christoff, last April 24, 2026.

.The Rotary Marker stands as a lasting legacy of the current leadership and upholds the spirit of Service Above Self—a meaningful reminder that true leaders are remembered not by titles, but by the good they leave behind for the people they serve.

Through the initiative and effort of United for Good President Ricsie Dominic Solis the installation of another Rotary Marker along Tandang Sora Avenue, Barangay Talipapa, Quezon City serves as motivation in the new generation and emphasize the main purpose of service above self, regardless of status, position, age or even gender.

The Rotary Marker project was carried out as a symbol of unity, dedication, and continuous service of the Rotary Club to the community. The project began on July 1, 2025, and was completed on July 18, 2025, under the leadership of Rotary President Ricsie Dominic Solis. This marker was built to honor the efforts and accomplishments of the current president and to serve as an inspiration and reminder for future leaders of the organization.

It was created not only as a structure but also as a lasting emblem of every project accomplished and every service rendered for the betterment of the community. The unveiling ceremony was held on July 19, 2025, and was graced by the presence of our sister club, RC Geumsan-Insam, along with Rotary Club members, officers, and guests. The event highlighted the strong bond of fellowship and international partnership that Rotary continues to uphold.

Rotary Club of Talipapa, through UFG President Ricsie Solis and TNHS Principal Dr. Jennifer Tan, was given the "Outstanding Stakeholder Award" by the DepEd Quezon City School Division Office during the 6th Gawad Kaagapay.

Thank you to our adopted school Talipapa National High School for the nomination, and for letting our Club to be part of the School's programs and projects.
