𝗛𝗲𝘆! 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗛𝗮!

Have you ever had a question on your mind? Like, "𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵?" Or, "𝘄𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝘆 𝗰𝗼-𝘆𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵?" Well...🤔

The Word of God had taught the youths the importance of attending 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 and 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, as 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀 2:42-47 tells us that in order for everyone to grow, we must stay connected to each other.👥️✨️

The people are the church, and a church is one 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁. As part of the body of Christ, God reminded us that we must function together. We go to church to grow with Christ, and we go to fellowship with one another to grow with each other.🏡🌱

And just like the redwood that grows higher because its foundation was each other alone, we can also grow as Christians if we put God and the church and fellowship as our foundation; then we can grow higher than redwoods and beyond.🌳🙌

The importance of going to church and fellowship is not for the sake of 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲—it is a form of 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.

𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗙𝗔𝗧 𝗞𝗮 𝗕𝗮?🤷‍♂️

As we gathered together for another fun and knowledge-fulfilling lesson for our Youth Fellowship. A question starts to flow...💭👥️

May FAT ka ba? O may 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘆, and 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 ka ba?

The fellowship today reminds us that we—disciples of God have the ability to share and spread the gospel, but then 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘆 is a must. As we study the 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, Jesus reminds us that He is a living example of what a disciple of Jesus should be like (John 13:15). He teaches His disciples, just as a mother eagle teaches her young to fly by pushing them out of the nest.🪹🦅

Jesus also reminds the youths that God 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 us a task—we have our own delegations to fulfill. And to be able to fulfill the tasks God has given us; we must be like 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 and 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿, who had a 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 with Jesus. They also have the 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, and as they follow Jesus Christ, we learn that they really are 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 people.🛶🎣

Jesus is not looking for our ability, for God has already given us the ability. Jesus needs disciples with FAT—𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗔𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, & 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆.✨️❤️

𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗜 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱?

A question that might have been bothering anyone's mind...💭

Truly, God has spoken within the youth as we studied the book of 𝗘𝘇𝗿𝗮 9:10-12 for today's Youth Fellowship. God reminds us how we have been 𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹 and 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 to Him. This concludes that a man is indeed sinful.🌏👥

We dug deep into how a youth can remain 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹 and 𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 to God despite the sinful and influencing world, and we tackled how a youth can have a big impact on God's 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻.✨️🙌

We invite you to come and join us on our journey to build everlasting friendships with people who are striving to be like Christ!

✨ 𝑬𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒂𝒚 📖

At the RFC Youth Leadership Camp 2025, my journey of stepping up as a Christian began. “Count Me In: Together We Will Serve The Lord” was last year’s theme, but for me, it was not just a theme, it became a commitment.

While going through the booklet we used during the camp last year, I saw my self-evaluation in different areas of my life. I noticed that my lowest scores were in “Word” and “Conduct.” Maybe it was because I was a wallflower or simply afraid to speak up. But now, here I am, sharing my testimony on how God has changed me after the camp.

I already knew Christ before joining the camp last year. In fact, I was 12 years old when I met Him. But because I was still young then, I often experienced confusion whenever I was in church or even when reading the Bible. Going back to the camp, one of the most impactful lessons for me was about the Bible character Joshua. It was about obeying God, how we are given the personal choice to either obey Him or ignore His commands.

During that time, the only thing I thought I could offer to God was my talent in music. I am really passionate about it. I told the Lord, “Lord, this is all I can do and all I know how to do.” Because I was not confident in speaking or sharing the gospel. I often stutter when I try to speak, and I easily feel embarrassed when interacting with people.

But I was on fire during that time, and I truly felt the love of the Lord during and after the camp. That is why I decided to join the music team. However, it was not easy for me to return to playing music because of my past experiences as a church musician. Even though I was afraid, I trusted the Lord and chose to obey Him. I offered my talent in music, and now I serve as a guitarist and sometimes a bassist in our church.

Being a Christian is not easy, especially when God begins to use you more in ministry. I went through school problems, family problems, and even financial struggles. It was difficult for me, especially since I had to travel from Fairview to our church in Barangay Pinyahan. Despite that, I chose to put God first. I remember saving up money just for transportation so I could still attend church. Even with a heavy school workload, I still chose to prioritize Him because for me, Saturdays and Sundays are for the Lord.

God is truly in control. There were times when I would be surprised that our Saturday or Sunday practices would suddenly get canceled. Those small but meaningful decisions of putting God first became part of my stepping up as a Christian. That was also when I realized that aside from ability, we must also have availability, not only in attending church, but also in spending time in His Word and prioritizing Him daily.
I was happy during that season because I felt content. But things changed when our pastor encouraged us to share the gospel using materials like “The Four Spiritual Laws” and “The Four.” As I mentioned earlier, I often stutter, but God gave me the courage to share the gospel with my friends and classmates. This year, I have already shared the gospel with six people, my classmates in Grade 10. Now that I have finished Junior High School, I am praying that God will continue to allow me to meet more people to share the gospel with.

I know that none of these things are possible on my own. First, I have God. Second, I have people who continually helped me grow in my spiritual life. They are the ones who encouraged me and helped me gain the courage to step up.

And one of the most important things that helped me step up is forgiveness, learning to forgive those who have sinned against us. As I mentioned earlier, I was 12 years old when I met Christ. But even after knowing Him, I still found myself going back to my old ways, easily getting angry, holding grudges, being prideful, and thinking only of myself.

I realized that it is not about how much we do, because we are not saved by our good works. We are saved because God has forgiven us. And just as He forgave us, we are also called to forgive others.

When I read a book titled “Sorry Po,” which tells the stories of Christians who chose to forgive despite the sins committed against them, I realized that what I had gone through was far less compared to theirs, and yet they still chose to forgive. Through prayer, I forgave those who hurt me, and even forgave myself. Truly, forgiveness brings freedom and peace.

I have stepped up, and I will continue to step up because of what God started in me through this camp. This camp is not just an experience, it can be the beginning of real change, just like it was for me.

Let us always remember that God is with us in this journey. To grow and to step up, forgiveness must be our first step. May the Lord bless each and every one of us. To God be all the glory

✨ 𝑬𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝑬𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆: 𝑺𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒂𝒚 𝒏𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒚 𝑺𝒂𝒚𝒔𝒂𝒚 📖

I've been in RFC QC, I think, for most of my life. I say this because I still remember what the younger version of Pastor Ojie looked like.

I want to start off by being honest with you guys. Before the camp last year, I was in a really dark place. I was starting to get older and realize things, so my consciousness was always getting to me. An example of this was my faith. I grew up thinking I was a Christian because my whole family was Christian, but I never felt like I belonged in the church or deserved to be talking with my youth friends. Everyone was always talking about having daily devotions or always praying, while I, on the other hand, felt like an imposter because they all seemed so… experienced or so happy in their faith. I never understood that because I never felt it. Praying felt like a chore to me, so even my own youth ministry felt so far away.

That was until my Tito Thirdie and grandma started encouraging me to join the youth camp. Honestly, parang pilit pa yung feeling inside of me, and well, I didn’t have a choice anyway, lol.

And so, it was my first youth camp last year, and I cannot begin to explain the wonders that camp did for me. I met so many incredible people who became my friends. Ako kasi, I always grew up being a leader sa school or part ng student body organization, but because of this camp, I realized that I can bring that same leadership to glorify God. As some of you may know, I’m very outgoing and extroverted. You could say that social anxiety fears me.

But what really stood out to me during this camp was the last preaching by Pastor Ojie. It was about how serving the Lord was a choice, my own personal choice. And it was the first sermon that made me cry because I had never felt so understood in my whole life. All the guilt, the shame, and the confusion just came pouring out of me in the form of tears.

I cried because I had been scared to admit for so long that I didn’t feel close to God, scared to admit that maybe… maybe I didn’t love Him the way I should. I was terrified of what people would think, my family, my friends, my church. What would they say if they knew that I felt nothing sometimes? That I doubted? That I was… failing to feel my faith in God? I felt so guilty kasi tito ko ba naman ay pastor, tapos buong family ko puro Christian, tapos ako ganito ang nararamdaman ko.

But because of Pastor Ojie, I realized something. It didn’t matter what anyone else thought, not my family, not my friends, not even Pastor Ojie. The question was mine alone. Do I love and want to be a child of God, or do I not?

And so, after that youth camp, I was never the same. I finally accepted Jesus Christ into my life on the evening of May 7, 2025.

I know this might be a shock to most of you because I accepted Christ later in my life, but I am just happy to finally love the Lord fully and attend church without feeling like I don’t belong. I am proud and so blessed to say that I am a product of this RFC youth camp. I am eternally grateful for the outcome this camp gave my life because it changed me. I was then baptized on September 7, 2025, and became an official member of RFC QC. I also became more active in the youth ministry, and it’s mainly because Kuya Adrian and Tita Grace are such supportive and amazing people.

So, dear campers, believe me when I say that this camp can change you, but only if you let it. Not just if you attend every session, not just if you sing every song, not just if you listen, but if you open. your. heart. Because out of everything we need in this world, it’s love, and JESUS IS love.

Dear campers, allow yourself to be honest. Stop pretending, even just for a moment, that you have everything figured out. Because that’s what I did. I stopped hiding. I stopped trying to look like I had perfect faith, and instead, I brought God my doubts, my emptiness, and my fear, and He met me there.

This youth camp isn’t magic, okay? It won’t force you to change, but it will offer you something real, something deeper than just emotions or temporary excitement. It will offer you the chance to encounter a God who sees you exactly as you are, not who you pretend to be. But you have to choose Him. No one else can make that decision for you, not your leaders, not your friends, not your family. It has to come from you.

So don’t waste this moment. Don’t let this just be another camp you forget after a few weeks. Let this be the place where you finally become honest with yourself… and with God. Because if you do, if you truly let Him in, I promise you, your life will never be the same.

I don’t know what the future holds. I don’t know if I’ll always get it right. But I know this. For the first time in my life… I am home. I am loved by a mighty Father in heaven, and I can guarantee you that I really feel it this time.

Which is why I am choosing to step up for Him for the rest. Of. My. Life.
