Vibrant Clubs Workshop. 💙💛

The Rotary Club of Pag-Asa proudly participated in the District 3780 Vibrant Club Workshop, reaffirming our commitment to strengthening our club, empowering our members, and expanding our service to the community.

Representing Team Pagasians were TLP President Kaye Martinez, President-Elect Katrina Regala, Membership Chair IPP Fleur Balleza, Public Image Chair PP Aya Corpus, PP Harold Martinez, together with our dedicated club members.

The workshop provided valuable insights on membership growth, public image, club engagement, and The Rotary Foundation—equipping us with fresh ideas and practical strategies to make our club even more vibrant and impactful.

As we move forward, we remain inspired to build stronger partnerships, develop future leaders, and continue creating meaningful projects that transform lives.

We shared more than a meal—we shared a piece of the Filipino heart. 🇵🇭💙🇰🇷

We were honored to welcome our friends from Saechangwon Rotary Club as we celebrated a meaningful day of fellowship, cultural exchange, and the official Sisterhood Ceremony with the Rotary Club of Pag-Asa. Guided by Rotary's motto, "Service Above Self," this occasion marked not only the beginning of a partnership between two clubs but also the strengthening of a friendship between the Philippines and the Republic of Korea.

For our fellowship lunch, we chose a Jollibee Kiddie Party because Jollibee is more than just a restaurant—it is a place where Filipino families celebrate birthdays, milestones, and life's happiest moments. We wanted our Korean friends to experience this uniquely Filipino tradition, filled with laughter, games, smiles, and the warm hospitality that defines our culture.

The journey continued with a visit to the Marikina Shoe Museum, where our guests discovered the city's rich history, exceptional craftsmanship, and the heritage that has made Marikina the Shoe Capital of the Philippines.

As evening fell, we gathered at MyeongDong Korean Gastropub to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine, including the beloved samgyeopsal, celebrating the rich culinary traditions of Korea while embracing the spirit of togetherness that both our cultures cherish. The night became even more memorable with karaoke (noraebang), a favorite pastime shared by Koreans and Filipinos alike, reminding us that music, laughter, and fellowship transcend language and borders.

From meaningful conversations and shared meals to songs and laughter, every moment strengthened the bond between our two Rotary clubs. We look forward to many years of collaboration, cultural exchange, and impactful service projects that will make a lasting difference in our communities.

We celebrated more than a Sisterhood—we celebrated friendship, unity, and the enduring Rotary spirit that connects us across cultures and inspires us to serve together.

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our sincerest appreciation to the Office of the Mayor Johnielle Keith Nieto and his Representative Edmon Pascual, The Cainta Municipal Hospital, Chief of Hospital Dr. Sierra, It's Hospital Administrator Dr. Javier, coordinators, doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital team for warmly welcoming and accommodating our Korean delegation during their visit. Your hospitality, professionalism, and commitment to public service made the visit truly meaningful.

To our Immediate Past District Governor Veronica Yu, words cannot fully express our gratitude. Thank you for believing in this Global Grant from the very beginning, for your unwavering support, guidance, and determination. Through your leadership and perseverance, what once seemed uncertain has brought us to this significant milestone. Today, we celebrate not just a successful visit, but the fruits of countless hours of dedication, teamwork, and faith in this shared vision.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Past District Governor Johnny Yu and PP Rene Cantos for their continued support and invaluable assistance throughout this journey.
