The GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF), continues to uphold the Network's long tradition of service to the marginalized – a commitment that serves as the moving spirit behind GMA Network. Through the GMAKF, the Network spreads the gospel of sharing and caring and manifests what being a Kapuso means. And though usually identified as the CSR arm of GMA Network, it is an independent, PCNC-certified, non-stock, non-profit, media-based organization. As such, apart from the Network which is its biggest donor, it also relies on partnerships and donations from individuals, groups and corporations in order to operate, those who share in its belief to uplift the lives of the underprivileged Filipinos, especially in the most remote, far-flung and even high-risk security areas of the country. The GMAKF is not a one-man show -- the general public can get involved through the Foundation's volunteering projects. It not only helps but also links up and gets the community engaged. It is quick to respond and answers problems with long-term solutions. It is looking out for one another and helping each other especially in times of need. It is educating the youth and making sure that the students don't miss class simply because they don't have basic school supplies. It is providing nutritious food to those who need nourishment but can't afford it. It is giving the gift of health. It is giving the gift of time. With the Kapuso equity, the Foundation's role in extending help to less fortunate Filipinos became more concrete. In 2003, the late former President Corazon Aquino cited the Foundation as one of the top 20 model organizations in the country. Aquino personally invited the Foundation to join the People Power Movement whose goal is for the betterment of the lives of the Filipinos. In 2009, through the projects of the Foundation, over 800,000 Filipinos were reached and given assistance. The number concretely signifies the commitment of the Foundation to help Filipinos in need one at a time, changing one life at a time; hoping that each and every life it touches becomes the catalyst of change for a better community and a better country. The Foundation has genuinely created and sustained a culture of philanthropy and social commitment among its officers, employees, talents and the communities to which it reaches out.

Magsasagawa ang GMA Kapuso Foundation at Department of Health CHD4A sa pakikipagtulungan ng Rizal Provincial Health office at local na pamahalaan ng San Mateo, Rizal ang libreng Newborn Screening.

Sa darating na September 29, 2026 mula alas otso ng umaga hanggang alas dose ng tanghali sa Jose F. Diaz Memorial Stadium, San Mateo Rizal.

TATLONG BAGO AT MATIBAY NA KAPUSO CLASSROOMS, IPAPATAYO SA TALISAY CITY, CEBU

Sa pagyanig ng magnitude 6.9 na lindol sa Northern Cebu noong September 30, 2025, gumuho sa isang iglap hindi lamang ang mga imprastratura kundi maging ang pag-asa ng mga naapektuhan. Kabilang ang ilang Paaralan sa mga napinsala ng lindol at salamin nito ang pangamba ng mga batang mag-aaral.

Dahil po sa inyong mga donasyon, at sa tulong ng ating partners at sponsors, tatlong matibay at konkretong silid-aralan sa Lawaan Elementary Schools sa Brgy. Lawaan, Talisay City, Cebu sa ilalim ng ating Kapuso School Development project. May tibay itong kaya ang hanggang magnitude 8 na lindol at hangin na hanggng 280 kph.

Isinagawa ang Groundbreaking Ceremony na dinaluhan ni Ms. Rikki Escudero-Catibog, GMA Kapuso Foundation EVP/COO; Dr. Arden D. Monisit, SDS, Division of Talisay City; Hon. Higit isang buwan nang nakalubog sa baha ang maraming lugar sa Pampanga dahil sa habagat. Dahil dito, marami sa ating mga kabalen ang labis na apektado ang trabaho at kabuhayan.

Sa pagpapatuloy ng ating sa Pampanga, nagtungo ang GMA Kapuso Foundation sa bayan ng Sto. Tomas upang maghatid ng tulong.

2,000 pamilya o 8,000 indibidwal mula sa 7 purok ng Brgy. San Vicente ang nahandugan natin ng food packs na naglalaman ng bigas, canned goods, noodles, cultured milk drink, kape, biscuits, at dagdag din nating handog ang skincare set.

Lubhang naramdaman sa Northern Luzon ang lupit ng nagdaang Habagat. Kabilang ang probinsya ng Pangasinan sa mga isinailalim sa state of calamity matapos iwanang lubog sa baha ang mga imprastraktura at malawak na sakahan.

Sa gitna ng kalamidad, sama-sama po tayong magtutulungan sa pagbangon. Sa ilalim ng , agad na nagtungo ang GMA Kapuso Foundation sa mga munisipalidad ng Calasiao at Bugallon upang maghatid ng tulong. Dahil sa malasakit ng lahat ng ating donors, 990 pamilya ang matagumpay nating nahandugan ng mga food packs!

UPDATE: Hindi nakaligtas sa mapaminsalang ulan at baha na dala ng Habagat ang Agoo, La Union, lalo na ang mga residenteng naninirahan sa mga coastal area.

Kaya naman tinungo ng ating Operation Bayanihan ang lugar upang maghatid ng tulong. Sa pamamagitan ng inyong suporta, higit sa 500 pamilya, kabilang ang mga lokal na mangingisda, ang ating nahandugan ng food packs mula sa Barangay Sta. Rita Central, Nazareno, San Isidro, at San Nicolas West.

GMA Kapuso Foundation Receives ₱30-Million Donation from British Philanthropist Jonathan Michael Sterling

GMA Kapuso Foundation (GMAKF) received a ₱30-million cash donation from British philanthropist Mr. Jonathan Michael Sterling, extending vital support to families affected by the recent earthquake in Mindanao.

The donation was coursed through GMA Network Senior Vice President and GMA Kapuso Foundation Trustee Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, who introduced Sterling to the humanitarian work and programs of the GMA Kapuso Foundation. Following their meeting and a discussion about the Foundation’s initiatives, Sterling expressed his desire to support GMAKF and contribute to its efforts to assist communities affected by disasters.

The donation was formally received by Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes and GMA Kapuso Foundation Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Rikki Escudero-Catibog.

A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was also signed to formalize the use of the donation for the construction of temporary shelter pods for families who lost their homes in SOCCSKSARGEN and Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental, following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao in June.

The temporary shelter pods will provide affected families with a safe and temporary place to stay as they recover from the impact of the disaster and begin rebuilding their homes and communities.

Sterling’s generous contribution underscores his commitment to helping families affected by calamities and providing meaningful support during times of crisis. Through his donation, GMA Kapuso Foundation will be able to extend immediate and much-needed assistance to earthquake-affected communities.

GMA Kapuso Foundation expresses its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Jonathan Michael Sterling for his generosity, trust, and support. GMAKF likewise acknowledges Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes for facilitating the connection that made this meaningful partnership possible.

GMAKF remains committed to ensuring that the donation is used responsibly and reaches the families who need it most, helping them move forward with hope, safety, and renewed strength.

Sa ikalawang bugso ng ating sa Zambales, nagtungo naman tayo sa munisipalidad ng San Marcelino kung saan nabisita po natin ang mga katutubong Aeta sa Brgy. Buhawen na naninirahan sa matataas na sitio at lumikas dahil sa tuloy-tuloy na ulan at mga pagbaha dahil sa habagat. Agad din tayong dumiretso sa Olongapo City na labis ding naapektuhan ng baha.

Sa kabuuan, 2,000 pamilya ang ating nahatiran ng tulong sa pamamagitan ng mga food packs, diapers para sa mga bata, at masustansyang Gardenia loaf bread. Maraming salamat, Gardenia Philippines, sa inyong walang sawang pagsuporta!
