Last August 1, 2026, the Adarna Group Foundation held an Eager Reader Learning Session with Adarna House storytellers. Through the workshop, "Designing Story-Based Activities," Teacher Camille Quiambao shared creative strategies for transforming storytelling into a rich, interactive learning experience by incorporating meaningful activities before, during, and after every story.

The session highlighted that storytelling is more than simply reading aloud. It is a powerful way to bring stories to life, ignite children's imagination, nurture their creativity, and inspire a lifelong love for reading among every Filipino child.

A heartfelt thank you to our Adarna House storytellers. We look forward to bringing more stories to life with you through future AH and AGFI initiatives!

This July, the Adarna Group Foundation, in partnership with the LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation, officially launched the second year of the Magsimulang Magbasa Program. As part of the program's continued commitment to early literacy, parents of daycare learners participated in a workshop on Understanding Reading Readiness Skills. The session equipped parents with practical knowledge and strategies to support their children's literacy development. The session also emphasized the role and importance of parents and caregivers as learning partners, reinforcing the vital role of families in preparing young learners for reading success.

Sa pagsisimula ng taong 2026–2027, muling magsasama ang Adarna Group Foundation at LBC Hari ng Padala Foundation upang dalhin ang Magsimulang Magbasa Program Year 2 sa iba't ibang komunidad.

Sa ikalawang taon ng programa, layunin nitong higit pang palalimin ang kaalaman at kakayahan ng mga child development workers sa anim na reading readiness skills. Pagtitibayin din ng programang ito ang kakayahan ng CDWs na gabayan ang mga magulang at iba pang kasama ng bata sa bahay sa paglinang ng pagbasa sa kanilang tahanan.

Sama-sama muli tayo tungo sa ating mithiin na bawat batang Filipino ay nakababasa. 📖💛
