The 21st Peer Disciples to the World visited Ascension Feeding Center from January 19–21, 2026, and shared unforgettable moments with our children and families. 💛

The children enjoyed fun-filled games, creative art activities, and delicious food distribution that brought so much laughter and happiness. 🎨🍽️ The group also visited selected families, offering prayers, encouragement, and grocery packs to support their daily needs.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the Feast Day of Sainthood of Saint Luigi Orione — a man of deep faith, boundless charity, and unwavering love for the poor, abandoned, and those most in need.

Known as the “Father of the Poor,” Saint Luigi Orione dedicated his life to bringing people closer to God through acts of compassion, education, service, and hope. He believed that “Only charity will save the world,” a mission that continues to inspire us today.

Through the Payatas Orione Foundation, Inc., the spirit and mission of Saint Luigi Orione continue to live on in the community of Payatas. His legacy is reflected in every scholar given the opportunity to study and dream for a better future, every child nourished through the Feeding Program, and every family served through the Health Program.

To our beneficiaries, scholars, volunteers, donors, and partners — you are part of the living mission of Saint Luigi Orione: bringing light, dignity, hope, and God’s love to those in need.

As we celebrate his feast day, may we continue to become instruments of charity and compassion, following the example of Saint Luigi Orione in serving with joyful hearts.

Today we remember the 86th Death Anniversary of St. Luigi Orione — a man whose life became a living witness of God’s love for the poor, the abandoned, and the forgotten. His heart burned with charity, teaching us that the best way to serve God is by loving and serving our brothers and sisters in need. ❤️

As we honor his legacy, we also joyfully celebrate 19 years of service of Payatas Orione Foundation, Inc. — a journey inspired by the mission and spirit of Don Orione. For nearly two decades, the foundation has continued to bring hope through education, health, feeding, and community programs for families in Payatas.

With this year’s theme, “Rooted in Charity, Growing Sustainably: 19 Years of Don Orione’s Love and Action,” we reaffirm our commitment to nurture communities with compassion, dignity, and lasting opportunities. 🌱

May the example of Don Orione continue to inspire us to become instruments of charity — bringing light, hope, and love wherever there is need.
