Cecilian Chorus The Chorus is as old as the church it is serving. This was when the OLAP Youth Choir was established. Under the guidance of St.

Since the time the youth of OLAP decided to take part in the church’s young ministry, the founding members of the Chorus were in the forefront of the endeavor. The group was under the newly created Music Ministry of OLAP and actively participated in the church’s undertakings, particularly in serving during masses for the youth which was, even during that time, was already at 6 in the evening every Sunday, the current mass schedule of the Chorus. But as years passed, the Youth Choir was never exempted from change. Members come and go and the group saw the leadership of the parish passed on. And since most of its members have matured in age, they felt that the name β€œYouth Choir” was not anymore appropriate. Thus in October of 2006, the choir was renamed and is now known as the Cecilian Chorus. With its new name, not only can the group be open to all ages, but also, it can bring the ministry more closer to the reach of many of those who share the same desire of serving God through their talents. Cecilia, the patron saint of music, her never ending devotion to the Lord serves as the inspiration of its members to hone their craft for the glory and honor of His Name.

Kaisa ng buong Diyosesis ng Novaliches ang ating parokya sa pagpapahayag ng pakikiramay at pagdarasal para sa kaluluwa ni Rev. Fr. Luciano Felloni, na tuluyan nang namahinga sa kanlungan ng ating Panginoon nitong 6:45 ng gabi, sa Kapistahan ng Pagdadala kay Hesus sa Templo, Ika-2 ng Pebrero, 2025.

Si Rev. Fr. Luciano ay isang dedikadong alagad ng Diyos, na ginamit ang kaniyang Social Media Accounts, sa pamamagitan ng kaniyang programa na 'AlmuSalita' upang ipahayag ang mabuting balita ng Panginoon sa gitna ng Pandemya.

Gamitin nawa natin ang pagkakataong ito upang pagnilayan ang kaniyang naging buhay, at ipagdiriwang ang kaniyang dedikasyon sa pagpapalaganap ng pananampalataya kay Kristo.

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before He was crucified.

Palm Sunday is the final Sunday of Lent, the beginning of Holy Week, and commemorates the triumphant arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, days before He was crucified.

During the celebration, the faithful will often receive palm fronds which they use to participate in the reenactment of Christ's arrival in Jerusalem. In the Gospels, Jesus entered Jerusalem riding a young donkey where He was warmly welcomed by the townspeople. This was a customary practice for people of great respect.

Palm branches are widely recognized symbol of peace and victory, hence their preferred use on Palm Sunday.

β–ͺ︎Imposition of ashes during Ash Wednesday will be done right after the mass.

May we usher the season of Lent with prayer, reflection, and repentance for our transgressions.
