I am the world's best volunteer. I am Jelly Joy Vete.

I got in Japan last year March. My heart that time was really different. I am acting like I am happy. But honestly, I did a lot of bad things. My heart towards the church is not good. I thought I do a lot of good things for the church. It turns out different. Sensei and Samonim were angry to me. I don't understand. I thought they were wrong. I realize that doing good for the church is fine. But doing it without the heart of God is what's wrong.

I am living inside the church for almost 6 years already. I thought that I am doing great. But as they say, when you will be a Good News Corps volunteer, you will receive your second salvation. I don't understand it at first. But as I lived in Japan, I am starting to relive my salvation.

Mark 11:24

That is the promise verse given to me.
Thatโ€™s even my password to all of my social media. But I used to believe in that verse when I got here.

I have less access there. I cannot buy what I want. I cannot do what I want. And the good thing of it is I need to pray if I needed something. I am praying always because I needed a lot of things. And God answered all of it.

Volunteering in Japan taught me that faith grows when I serve with a believing heart. I prayed for purpose, and God answered through every person I met and every task I was given. Truly, when we believe that we have received what we ask in prayer, we begin to see miracles in our everyday life.

Challenge. Change. Cohesion.

Thatโ€™s the goal of the Good News Corps Volunteering Program. And it really happened to me in that country. The real reason why volunteering is a good opportunity is because it allows you to think deeply. It allows you to know you cannot do a lot of things.

I thought I already know most of the things because I lived in the church but I am far to being good. Too dirty to be cleaned. But through Jesus I was saved. By grace. Not by my hardwork.

I cannot do a lot of things. Thatโ€™s what I know. God really humbled me when I was in Japan.

Thank you to the church. Thank you to samonim and sensei. They taught me to be understanding. Thank you to all my co-volunteers. They taught me patience. Thank you to all the people I met. They allowed me to share this testimony.
