WeDpro has been on the cutting edge of social, cultural, gender, and human-rights advocacy since it was founded in 1986. We publish trailblazing studies in alternative employment, livelihood and human resource development for women, and health. We organize national conferences on women's rights, LGTBQ issues, s*x trafficking, and human security and development. We work with local, national, and in

ternational bodies to advocate for policy and legislative reforms that benefit women, children, and their communities. We address critical (and often-ignored) issues that may be currently be on the fringes of progressive praxis, but later become important in mainstream discussions of policy and law.
