The TRANSCEND Project, or Transformative Actions for Climate and Ecological Protection and Development, conducted a training-workshop on Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping and Analysis on 28โ€“30 April 2026 in Antique.โ€‹
โ€‹
Through this training, the participants strengthened their understanding of basic GIS concepts, learned to navigate QGIS software, and applied fundamental GIS skills by generating map outputs through map design and layout. This activity supports efforts to strengthen local planning and decision-making through accessible, science-based, and spatial data-informed tools.โ€‹
