Help promote domestic Tourism, including its variations like eco-tourism and agro-tourism and even koop tourism (visit and learn from local koops), under the Department of Tourism’s (DOT) Philippines program. Help promote the local brand of hospitality for participating local government units (LGU’s);
Support the government's nautical highway (Ro-Ro), or the roll-on, roll-off shipping network

nking all major islands, which will help boost market linkages for agriculture as well as boost
local tourism;
Promote deeper rural-urban business linkages through the Central Commodity Exchange
Center (CCEC) and its network of trading stations at various LGUs;
Help promote local indigenous and coop products and delicacies of towns and cities along the
Karavan's route;
Establish Iinakages among the LGUs, Iocal cooperatives, and the local business community
that are necessary in facilitating market matching among buyers, suppliers, and investors;
Practice the ‘koop’ principle of strengthening solidarity with other cooperatives as well as
build linkages with government and the business sector that are necessary in the fight
against widespread poverty;
Contribute towards the growth and development of the domestic market by boosting farmers'
income and their purchasing power through better agri-marketing linkages, whereas we believe that a robust
domestic market translates into bigger sales for the business community.
