St. Ignatius of Loyola is the founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) and one of the Church's greatest spiritual masters. Through his profound conversion, the Spiritual Exercises, and the practice of the Daily Examen, a simple prayer of gratitude and reflection to recognize God's presence and discern His guidance in daily life, he inspired countless men and women to seek God's greater glory, discern His will, and follow Christ with generosity, courage, and love.

Every element of his iconography reflects his spiritual legacy: the IHS symbolizes the Holy Name of Jesus, the heart of Ignatian spirituality; the three nails represent both Christ's Passion and the Jesuit vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience; the book recalls the Spiritual Exercises and his enduring spiritual wisdom; while his cassock or chasuble signifies his vocation as a Jesuit priest devoted to the service of God and His Church.

May St. Ignatius of Loyola inspire us to seek God in all things, faithfully practice the Daily Examen, discern His will, and live always Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam—for the greater glory of God. Amen.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel has been honored for centuries as the patroness of the Carmelite Order and a loving mother who leads souls closer to Christ. Rooted in the spirituality of Mount Carmel in the Holy Land, devotion to her spread throughout the world through the Brown Scapular, a sign of Mary's protection and an invitation to live a life of prayer, humility, and faith.

In every detail carries meaning: the Brown Scapular symbolizes devotion and commitment to Christian living; Mary's white cloak reflects her purity and holiness; her brown tunic recalls the Carmelite spirit of humility and closeness to God; and the Christ Child, holding a scapular and blessing humanity, points us to the grace and salvation found in Him.

May Our Lady of Mount Carmel guide us to imitate her virtues and always lead us to her Son, amen.
