Empowering Farmers. Strengthening Cooperatives. Building a Sustainable Future.

The Cooperative Academy of the NATCCO Network (CANN), in Partnership with Peace and Equity Foundation is opening a Batch 1 of the 𝐂𝐨-𝐨𝐩 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 (𝐂𝐨-𝐨𝐩 𝐋𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢)—a capacity-building program designed to strengthen the leadership and management capabilities of farmer-leaders, agricultural cooperative officers, Board of Directors, and members.

The program aims to equip participants with practical knowledge, skills, and approaches that they can apply in strengthening their cooperatives and better supporting their farmer-members.

🎯 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐎𝐁𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒

Through the program, participants will:
✅ Strengthen their understanding of cooperative identity, values, principles, and membership within the context of agriculture;
✅ Develop leadership and management capabilities needed to effectively lead and manage Agri-cooperatives;
✅ Strengthen farmer-member participation and engagement in cooperative activities and decision-making;
✅ Improve coordination in agricultural production, marketing, finance, and cooperative services;
✅ Develop practical approaches to addressing the needs and challenges of farmer-members and agricultural communities; and
✅ Promote sustainable, resilient, and member-centered Agri-cooperatives that contribute to improved farmer livelihoods.
