The Philippine Leprosy Mission is a non-stock, non-profit church-related agency dedicated to the welfare of persons with leprosy and persons affected by leprosy. We look forward to a leprosy-free Philippines for the glory of God. The organization began in the early 1920s as the Philippine Evangelical Leprosy Mission (PELM), a group of missionaries sent to take care of the spiritual and physical ne

eds of Protestant patients in what was then known as the Culion L***r Colony. On April 10, 1962, Philippine Leprosy Mission was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Bida ang Balat: Partners in Community Skin Health đź’™

On June 27, Philippine Leprosy Mission (PLM) successfully conducted the Community Skin Clinic in Pingkian, Quezon City, serving over 80 patients with free dermatologic and pedia consultation and treatment.

Our heartfelt gratitude to all our PLM members and dedicated volunteers for making this outreach possible. Special thanks to Pingkian Family Worship for the partnership and to the Philippine Dermatological Society for generously providing the medications for our patients.

Together, we continue to bring quality skin health services closer to communities that need them most.

On June 20, community members gathered for the Bida ang Balat: Partners in Community Skin Health Seminar, conducted in partnership with Pingkian Family Worship.

Led by Dr. Belen Dofitas, the seminar provided valuable information on skin health, early detection of skin conditions, and the importance of community awareness in promoting healthier skin.

Thank you to all participants and partners for supporting this meaningful initiative toward better skin health for all.

In celebration of the 64th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Leprosy Mission, we proudly support the launch of “The Painter’s Lost Colors”—a heartfelt storybook by JL and Elisha, talented Fine Arts Advertising students from TUP.

This advocacy campaign aims to break the stigma surrounding leprosy, dispel harmful myths, and inspire empathy through meaningful storytelling.
