Because of NET Ship Management Inc.'s meaningful partnership with ERDA Foundation, Inc., the principals of Donsotank Rederi and Furetank Rederi have also trusted ERDA with their support for children's education.

The principals together with Capt. Norrel Tapia (Net Ship CEO), Ms Nanette Medel (Net Ship Training Director) and Atty. Dianne Vale-Daniel (Net Ship Finance Manager) have witnessed, too, the heartwarming performances of the ERDA Children’s Choir in Net Ship's annual gathering of principals and seafarers. 🪁

ERDA would like to thank NET Ship Management Inc. for welcoming Ms. Edlyn Burgonio, ERDA Deputy Director for Partnerships, during the turnover of donation last May 12, 2026 at NET Ship's Office.

Thank you for your support to ERDA’s mission in guiding the Filipino children’s better future. ❤️

Seventeen (17)beneficiaries from ERDA Communities in Paco/Pandacan, Manila, participated in the In-Reach Activity conducted by the Saint Jude Catholic School for Grade 12 HUMSS students entitled “Cirque du Humanities: College Readiness and Decision-Making", last April 18, 2026. 🪁

The activity aimed to give Grade 10–12 students a glimpse of college life and help them better understand the importance of making informed decisions for their future. During the General Assembly of the Association of Foundations (AF) on May 13, 2026, members gathered for a day of deliberations, updates, and collective decision-making, with Mr. Oman Jiao as AF Executive Director.

Our very own, Mr Noel Paulino, ERDA Deputy Director for Finance and Chair of the AF Comelec, led the election proceedings and voting results presentation during the assembly.

The assembly served as a space for reflection on the organization’s direction, shared experiences in development work, and reaffirmation of its commitments. Beyond formal proceedings, it highlighted the continued importance of collaboration, accountability, and purposeful action in advancing the network’s mission. 🪁

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Xavier School (XS) Batch 86, several batchmates, plus ERDA President Terence Ang, and ERDA Deputy Director for Programs Miriam Paulino, visited ERDA Foundation partner communities in Brgy. San Nicolas, Buenavista, Guimaras, and in Brgy. Quipot and Brgy. Ubian, Janiuay, Iloilo, as part of their continuing commitment to support indigenous children and families through education. 🪁

As the main local benefactor supporting these communities, XS '86 spent time listening to the realities and aspirations of our Ati and Panay Bukidnon children, while engaging with parents, teachers, community leaders and LGU representatives. The visit allowed them to witness firsthand how educational assistance and community support continue to help children stay in school, and pursue a brighter future. ❤️📚

Together with ERDA Foundation’s tie-up partners - John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) and St. Paul University Iloilo (SPU-I) represented by Ms Mary Mar Jaleco (JBLFMU) and Ms Yolanda Santacera (SPU-I), the implementation of ERDA programs including catch-up tutorial sessions continue to strengthen learning opportunities for children in the communities. 🏫

ERDA Foundation sincerely thanks XS '86 for their generosity, continued partnership, and meaningful monitoring visit as well as the DepEd representatives, LGUs, ERDA partners, and communities for warmly welcoming the delegation. Together, we continue to empower children and communities through education. 🙏✨

With the theme “Beyond Change: Strengthening Unity, Action, and Purpose,” ERDA staff came together for a meaningful teambuilding experience that highlighted how change, while sometimes disruptive, can also open doors for growth, reflection, and deeper connection. 🪁

Through the inspiring facilitation of guest speakers Sir Alvin "Alf" Belen and Sir Nick, participants were guided to understand that change is a constant in any organization and what truly matters is how a team responds and moves forward together.🎯

The Erda Staff were reminded of the value of pakikisama, bayanihan, teamwork, humility, and gratitude in action during the teambuilding. One of the most impactful moments was the Gratitude Jar inspired by Katrina Liu & Bella Ansori, where staff members shared what they were grateful for in ERDA. 🫙

Overall, the teambuilding served as a reaffirmation of ERDA Foundation’s identity and purpose. It strengthened unity, reinforced shared values, and renewed our commitment to serve with intention and compassion. ❤️

The Peer Educators’ Lakbay Aral of Stairway Foundation, held at the ERDA Learning Hub in Bagong Silangan, Quezon City last May 3, 2026, gave children and youth the opportunity to listen, reflect, and learn from one another. 🪁

Together with KaBarKaDa, FHP Youth, SamaKaBa, and Kilos Batang Silangan (KBS) leaders explored the importance of child and youth participation, the role of stakeholders, and the realities faced by young people in influencing community engagement. ✨

Hearing different stories and experiences helped participants understand both the facilitating factors and challenges that affect participation. More importantly, the activity strengthened the commitment of children, youth leaders, and peer educators to become active advocates for inclusive and meaningful participation in their communities. ❤️

This experience reminded participants that empowering young people begins with creating safe spaces where their voices are recognized, respected, and transformed into action for the community.

The ERDA Alumni Project was presented by Niel Ferrer, Celeste Ladra, and Jenard Baiza during the Annual College Activity last April 2026. The project highlights the plan to establish an Alumni Association for all graduating and former beneficiaries. It aims to strengthen connections, build a support network, and continue the spirit of ERDA beyond the program. 🪁

It reflects the importance of having a continuing community where all can stay connected, access opportunities, and support one another through shared growth and development. It shows a strong commitment to sustaining the relationships formed within ERDA. 🤝

This initiative is an important step in creating a long-term support system that offers programs such as job sharing, skills training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and community projects for all .

Right now, the alumni core members are calling for your support for its first big activity — the Alumni Block Screening this June 2026 featuring Toy Story 5. 🤠👨🏻‍🚀🦖🥔🐷📖
