For three days, student leaders from across the Philippines came together to learn, connect, and strengthen their commitment to building safer and more inclusive schools for LGBTQIA+ students.

Through conversations on SOGIESC, children's rights, gender norms, social behavior change, and organizational building and sustainability, Camp SIKAT 2026 became a space where student leaders were equipped to strengthen their advocacy while building meaningful connections across the network.

To everyone who joined us: thank you for sharing your stories, ideas, and passion. The conference may have ended, but the work of creating inclusive campuses and communities continues. 🌈✨

🌈 CAMP SIKAT 2026: DAY 3 HIGHLIGHTS 🌈

Day 3 of Camp SIKAT 2026 resumed with insightful discussions on organizational sustainability to equip student leaders with the knowledge and strategies to build stronger, more resilient LGBTQIA+ organizations.

As the conference came to a close, the participants were able to strengthen connections with fellow student leaders and renew their commitment to advancing LGBTQIA+ inclusive education. 🎓✨

Day 2 of Camp SIKAT 2026 focused on the power of strategic communication in advancing LGBTQIA+ mental well-being and inclusive education.

Through an engaging session on Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC), Gibby Gorres, Chief Storyteller of Gugma, guided our student leaders in exploring how compelling narratives can inspire action, shift perspectives, and strengthen their advocacy within their schools and communities. ✨
