✨ ALS BRIDGES: Tracking Learners, Celebrating Wins ✨
The Arnold Janssen Catholic Mission Foundation – ALS Program continues to transform lives by giving out-of-school youth and adults a second chance at education. This maiden newsletter highlights how education becomes a bridge from hardship to hope.
🌱 From Learners to Achievers
ALS is not just about passing exams — it is about rebuilding dreams.
• Aldrin finished ALS, trained in Hotel & Restaurant Services, and is now a regular hotel employee.
• Jessica, a mother of two, became a small entrepreneur and now distributes processed food products to 13 stores.
These stories show that ALS opens doors to employment, livelihood, and dignity.
💛 Gratitude from the Heart
Learners and graduates shared emotional testimonies of struggle, second chances, and faith. Many had stopped schooling due to poverty, family responsibilities, or life crises — yet through ALS they found courage to continue. Their message is clear:
It is never too late to learn, and failure is not the end.
🕊️ Hope Behind Bars and Beyond
The program reaches even the most vulnerable sectors — including learners from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP). Stories like Warlito’s and Mario’s remind us that education restores self-worth, direction, and hope for reintegration into society.
🎓 Graduations: New Beginnings
ALS graduations were celebrated across many areas — NCR, Cavite, Palawan, Semirara Island, Tagaytay, and Zamboanga — proving the mission is truly nationwide and community-driven. Each graduation marks not just completion, but a new chapter in life.
🤝 Stronger Through Partnerships
The foundation continues to collaborate with parishes, local governments, DSWD, schools like UST, and various communities to widen access to education. Teamwork makes the mission sustainable.
🎁 Sagip Dunong: Investing in Futures
To support the growing number of learners, the SAGIP DUNONG fundraising program was launched. It invites more benefactors to help sustain ALS operations and reach more students who dream of finishing their education.

📖 In Summary:
The newsletter is a celebration of second chances, resilience, and the power of education to change lives. ALS is building bridges — from poverty to productivity, from discouragement to dignity, from broken pasts to hopeful futures.
