Kuya Center for Street Children caters children living on the streets, who have no family connections (abandoned, orphaned, lost runaways), who have family connections but prefer to live on the streets (runaways) who reside with their low-income families but “work” (street families), children living with their low-income family members in the community - who are more than likely ‘working children’ too economically poor for the families to be able to afford even public education.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Mandaluyong and its sister organizations for continuously providing Mandarin lessons every Saturday morning to the children of Kuya Center.

Learning a new language builds confidence, broadens cultural understanding, and opens new opportunities for their future.

Answered Prayer! 🙏❤️

Last month, our washing machine broke down several times. As we struggled to keep up with the children's daily needs, the children prayed for a new washing machine and other necessities for our shelter.

Today, God answered those prayers through the generosity of the Rotary Club of Greater Fairview, who blessed Kuya Center with a brand-new washing machine and other much-needed items.

This gift is more than an appliance—it means clean clothes, better hygiene, and a healthier home for our children every day. More importantly, it reminds them that they are loved, that kind-hearted people care, and that prayers are answered in the most beautiful ways.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Rotary Club of Greater Fairview, for your compassion and generosity. Your kindness is not only meeting practical needs but also restoring hope and reminding our children that they are never forgotten.

A heartfelt thank you to IBM, Benevity, Team Goodera, and all our generous donors and friends for making our School Supplies Distribution possible.

Because of your kindness and generosity, more children in our community will begin the school year equipped with the supplies they need and the confidence that someone believes in them.
