Kuya Center for Street Children caters children living on the streets, who have no family connections (abandoned, orphaned, lost runaways), who have family connections but prefer to live on the streets (runaways) who reside with their low-income families but “work” (street families), children living with their low-income family members in the community - who are more than likely ‘working children’ too economically poor for the families to be able to afford even public education.

✨ Strategic Planning 2026–2028 ✨

On March 21–22, Kuya Center for Street Children, Inc. gathered at the La Salle Retreat House for a meaningful two-day strategic planning.

Attended by the Board of Trustees, partners, volunteer, staff, and beneficiaries from both the residential facility and the community, the gathering became a space for reflection, unity, and renewed commitment toward a shared vision for the children we serve.

Together, we move forward with hope and purpose, committed to transforming lives in the next three years. 💙

In the morning of March 10,2026, a little boy came to my office and softly said,
“Tita, sana may apple tayo ulit.”

I gently told him, “Let us trust that God will provide.”

The little boy simply closed his eyes and prayed,
“Lord, please bigyan Mo naman po kami ng apples.”
Then he happily ran outside to play.

That same afternoon, something beautiful happened. Balikbayan Box Now arrived — and inside were not only apples, but also bananas and other basic needs for the children.

Sometimes God answers prayers in the most touching ways — through the kindness and generosity of the people He sends our way.

Today, we were reminded once again that the simple prayer of a child can move hearts and bring blessings beyond what we imagine.

Thank you to everyone who continues to become instruments of God’s love for our children. 💙🙏✨

👨 Male Houseparent – Provides daily care, supervision, and guidance to children in the residential facility.
📚 Center Educator – Facilitates tutorials, learning activities, and supports the children’s educational development.

Qualifications:

• Preferably with experience in childcare, education, or social work
