Muling pinapaalalahanan ng DMW ang publiko tungkol sa mga lumalaganap na β€œcross-country” o β€œthird-country” recruitment schemes online na bumibiktima sa maraming Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).

Ito ay matapos makatanggap ng ulat tungkol sa posibleng insidente ng human trafficking for forced criminality (online scam facility), na kinasasangkutan ng mga Pilipino mula Dubai, United Arab Emirates, papuntang Nigeria at iba pang bansa sa West Africa.

Pinaalalahanan ng DMW ang publiko na maging matalino at huwag magpapaloko sa mga pekeng recruiter upang hindi mabiktima ng illegal recruitment, human trafficking, at online scams. Agad na i-report ang mga ganitong kaso sa [email protected] o sa DMW page na www.facebook.com/dmwairtip.
