The FEU-NRMF Property Office, in partnership with the Office of Community Engagement, proudly donated more than 1,000 wooden chairs to our partner public schools as part of our continued commitment to supporting quality education and creating better learning environments for students.

The recipient schools are:
📚 Fairview Elementary School
📚 West Fairview Elementary School
📚 Sta. Lucia High School
📚 Caybiga High School
📚 Pangarap High School
📚 Caloocan High School
📚 Horocio Dela Costa High School

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
SDG 4: Quality Education
SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

Kwentong Kalusugan: Revisiting Community Champions 💙

From June 10–12, 2026, the Office of Community Engagement, in collaboration with the School of Physical Therapy, School of Medical Laboratory Science, and School of Nursing, conducted Kwentong Kalusugan: Revisiting Community Champions in various sitios of San Jose, Tarlac.

The activity focused on the re-evaluation and reassessment of trained Community Health Worker (CHW) volunteers, providing an opportunity to revisit their experiences, assess their knowledge and competencies, and identify ways to further strengthen their capacity to serve their communities. The volunteers also visited Sitio Dirita, where they interviewed the trained community leaders, and Baag Elementary School, where they conducted a brief vital signs training and interviewed the principal, teachers, and parents.

A brief health training session was also conducted for the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) members of Sitio Baag, equipping them with relevant knowledge to support health promotion and community-based initiatives.

This initiative reflects the institution’s continued commitment to interprofessional collaboration, community engagement, and the promotion of healthier and empowered communities.

The Office of Community Engagement proudly celebrates a meaningful milestone as Asst. Prof. Ria M. Raborar was featured speaker during the Social Work Student Summit (SWSS) 2026.

In the Interactive Forum, she highlighted the transformative practice of social work—grounded in the power of communities as active participants and co-creators of change. She emphasized that genuine Gawaing Panlipunan draws strength from empowering people, ensuring that development is not done for communities, but with them.

This engagement reflects OCE’s continued commitment to advancing community-centered, participatory, and transformative approaches in social work practice.

We extend our appreciation to the organizers and participants for fostering spaces of learning, reflection, and collaboration toward building a more just and inclusive society.

Kalusugan Para sa Lahat: Bigay Puso at Katutubo ❤️🩺

Last January 10, 2026, we proudly held a medical outreach program at Brgy. Burgos, San Jose, Tarlac, bringing compassionate and accessible healthcare to the community.

This meaningful initiative was made possible through the collaboration of the School of Medical Laboratory Science, with the dedicated support of faculty and students from the School of Medicine, School of Pharmacy, and School of Physical Therapy, together with a faculty member from the School of Nursing, and Dr. Michael Ian Sta. Maria from the CFM Department.

Our heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors Medical Technology Alumni Society and Medical Technology International Alumni Society, and to the barangay officials, public health workers, and doctors of San Jose, Tarlac for their invaluable support.
