MUG Sambahayan, Inc. Matthew 28:19-20 The Underground is a new kind of church made up not just of individuals but communities of individuals.

In an increasingly isolated world we believe that people are called together for transformation. Churches can be hubs for worship, equipping and inspiration for small missional communities. Just as the underground subway systems of some of the world's major cities provide an unseen but integrated network of communication, relationship, and movement, so we hope to build an unseen network of communi

cation that will transform our city and the world. The name may sound a little subversive,but we like that. In many ways, the systems of this world are failing and it is up to the people of God to offer our suffering world more than words. The Underground Church is an experiment in compassion. It is our attempt to establish a church that will love the weakest, serve the poorest, and do ministry at the margins of our city and throughout the world. We welcome anyone, at any point on their journey, but we make a razor sharp call to all who will hear. We hope to be a part of a revolution of love in each place we are called.

After a two-week break, TEAM J is back on the court! But before the games began, we gathered to worship God, recite our memory verse from John 14:6, and spend time in small groups with our team leaders. Discipleship comes before basketball!

We also distributed bags and school supplies to some of our players who haven’t claimed their back to school package yet, and had the opportunity to bless Kuya B**g and Ate Josephine, the caretakers of the court that has become home to many of our ministry moments.

Thankful for another Saturday of faith, fellowship and hoops! All glory to God!

PURSUE JOY IN PANGASINAN!

Inspired by MUG Sambahayan’s Pursue Joy campaign, the UNHS Batch 1989 alumni launched the first outreach of Pursue Joy Foundation's last Thursday, marking an important milestone.

Rooted in the message that true JOY is found when you put Jesus first, serve Others, before Yourself, the foundation’s first community outreach brought blessings to nearly 70 students in their almamater.

Among those served, 25 students received schools supplies through the support if MSI Cubao-Pasig and friends, while the rest were sponsored by the Batch 1989 alumni!

The children also enjoyed McDonald's meals, making the day even more memorable.

Happy Birthday, Pastor Jojo! Today, we celebrate not only your life, but also your unwavering faith, passionate service, and genuine love for the Lord. You are truly one of God’s greatest blessings to MUG and to everyone whose lives you touch.

What makes your ministry so inspiring is that you don’t just preach God’s Word, you live it every single day. Your life reflects the message you share. Whether talking to tricycle drivers, taxi drivers, vendors, strangers, or friends, you never waste an opportunity to minister and share the love of Christ. Every encounter becomes a chance to plant seeds of faith, encouragement, and hope.

You are not only a faithful preacher, but also a loving husband, a great father, a wise leader, a trusted mentor, an encouraging coach, and a man of integrity and wisdom.

Thank you for your sacrifices, prayers, leadership, and steadfast commitment to God’s calling. May the Lord continue to strengthen, protect, and bless you as you lead more people closer to Him.
