ROTARACT D3780 Our Stellar District is composed of 64 Rotaract Clubs all based in Quezon City.

We give light to others, serve with excellence, and inspire others. • The following are the milestones of District 3780 Rotaract:

• The first District 3780 Rotaract Conference was held in ULTRA in 1988 and participated by about 15 Rotaract clubs.

• Rotaract clubs in the district already won five times in the Rotary International Rotaract Outstanding Project Awards (ROPA) for

best project in Asia and the Pacific (Clean Hands Campaign by the Rotaract Club of Timog in 2009, Beginning and Basic Literacy Integrated Support Services in 2012)

• District 3780 produced the first Chairperson of the Pilipinas Rotaract Multi-District Information Organization (MDIO) in the name of PDRR Devie Ontolan - Patricio who served in Rotary Year 2007-2008.

• District 3780 produced its second Chairperson of the Pilipinas Rotaract MDIO in the name of PDRR Louie De Real who served in Rotary Year 2020-2021.

• District 3780 Rotaract had three Representatives who were selected to participate in the annual Rotary International Assembly (IA) namely PDRR Ligaya Nicole Corpus (2019), PDRR Louie De Real (2020) and DRR Dianna Isabelle Desuyo (2021).

• District 3780 Rotaract was officially represented in the following Rotary International Rotaract Pre-Convention Meetings: Oregon, USA (1990); Florida, USA (1992); Melbourne, Australia (1993); Taipei, Taiwan (1994), Nice, France (1995); Calgary, Alberta, Canada (1996), Taiwan (1998); Singapore (1999), Glasglow, Scotland (1999); Singapore (2000); and Texas, USA (2001); Bangkok, Thailand (2012); Seoul, South Korea (2016) and Toronto, Ontario, Canada (2018)

• District 3780 Rotaract was officially represented at the triennial International Rotaract Conference (Interota) in Gold Coast, Australia (1990); Toronto and Montreal, Canada (2014) and Taipei, Taiwan (2017)

• District 3780 Rotaract was officially represented at the International Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (I-RYLA) at Sydney, Australia (2014)

• District 3780 Rotaractors also participated in RYLA conferences conducted in 1995 and 1996 in Hong Kong.

• District 3780 Rotaractors participated in the 1996 Southeast Asia Rotaract Summit held in Baguio City, Philippines and which was participated by Rotaractors from Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong, Vietnam, India and Philippines.

• District 3780 Rotaract was officially represented at the Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference (APRRC) in Hong Kong (2004), Manila, Philippines (2006); Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (2007); Bali, Indonesia (2008), Singapore (2009); Sydney, Australia (2010); Subic, Philippines (2011); Bangkok, Thailand (2012); Taipei, Taiwan (2013); Hong Kong (2014); Yogyakarta, Indonesia (2015); Kyoto, Japan (2016); Phuket, Thailand (2017); Manila, Philippines (2018) and Kaohsiung, Taiwan (2019).

• District 3780 has Rotaractors who were crowned as Mr. Rotaract Asia Pacific namely Rotaractor Paul Dennis Tanganco (2011) and PDRR Louie De Real (2019).

• District 3780 Rotaract was recognized and accredited by the National Youth Commission in 1996 and supported government programs on international goodwill, education development, environmental protection and moral development.

• District 3780 Rotaract participated in Tri-Discon in 1999 together with District 3860 and 3870.

• District 3780 Rotaract was also a participant in the 1991 South East Asian Games Torch Relay in Quezon City.

• PDRR Ma. Rosario Garcia was appointed in 1994 as Chair of Malaria Project in ASEAN Region.

• District 3780 Rotaract was also recognized by the United Nations Association of the Philippines for supporting its International Youth Day on August 12 every year.

• District 3780 hosted the 2nd Pilipinas Rotaract Convention (PROCON) in 2013 and won its first PROCON District Presentation Champion trophy in 2020 during the conference in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

• District 3780 hosted three runs of the Luzon Leg of the Magic Badminton Cup - 5th in 2012, 7th in 2014 and 12th in 2019

• District 3780 hosted the Philippine District Rotaract Representatives Elect Training Seminar (DRRETS) in 2015 and 2020.

Our Story

• First District Conference was in 1988, held in ULTRA (now PhilSports Arena) and participated by about 15 clubs. • RID 3780 was represented in the Annual Rotary International Rotaract Pre-Convention Meeting in Oregon, USA (1990); Florida, USA (1992); Melbourne, Australia (1993); Nice, France (1995); Taiwan (1998); Glasglow, Scotland (1999); Singapore (2000); Texas, USA (2001); and at the International Rotaract Conference/Interota (1990) in Gold Coast, Australia. • RID 3780 was recognized and accredited by the National Youth Commission in 1996 and supported Government programs on international goodwill, education development, environmental protection and moral development. • RID 3780 participated in Tri-Discon in 1999 together with District 3860 and 3870. • RID 3780 was also a participant in the 1991 South East Asian Games Torch Relay in Quezon City. • RID 3780 is also recognized by the United Nations Association of the Philippines for supporting its International Youth Day on August 12 every year. • The Asia Pacific Rotaract Regional Conference was held for the 1st time in the Philippines. Rotaractors for RID 3780 was able to attend the APRRC at the Tagaytay International Convention Center from August 31 to September 2, 2006. • RID 3780 together with 3810 and 3830 where the three founding districts of the Multi-District Information Organization of the Philippines (MDIO Pilipinas) where Past District Rotaract Representative Devie Ontolan - Patricio served as its first chairman in 2008. • The official District Logo was designed by Rotaractor Cool Quezon from the Rotaract Club of Timog Q.C. and approved during the Rotary Year 2010-2011 under Past District Rotaract Representative Virgil delos Santos • The very first Friendship cup was initiated by RID 3780 and RID 3810 on February 20, 2011, the 2nd friendship cup also pushed through the next year on May 27, 2012 where RID 3830 also joined in. RID3780 won the 2nd friendship cup and still holds the trophy until today. • The Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3780 celebrated their Silver Anniversary (25 years) on August 11, 2011 during PDRR Marby Montellano's District Handover and Induction Ceremonies. • RID 3780 had an active participation during the 8th Asia Pacific Regional Rotaract Conference held in Subic Bay, Philippines last September 29 to October 2, 2011. • On February 10-12, 2012 the first Pilipinas Rotaract Convention (PRoCon) was held in the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) Tagaytay City where 20 Rotaractors from RID 3780 attended as delegates. • The 2nd Pilipinas Rotaract Convention (ProCon) happened on February 1-3, 2013 was hosted by RID3780 held at Loreland Farm Resort, Antipolo, Rizal. • PDRR Sharlyn Andrea Que represented RID 3780 at the INTEROTA 2014 in Toronto, Canada. • The Rotary Trainers of RID3780 which established the Rotary Academy as professional and leadership training for Rotarians has created its youth service branch: "Rotary Academy: School of RAC" and held its first session last October 11, 2014. It has then produced over 30 Rotaractor graduates in the District last May 3, 2015 • RID 3780 hosted the MDIO handover and Induction, DRRE Training and Seminar on May 29, 30 and 31 at the Global Lounge, Rotary Center.
