πŸ“Œ Courtesy Visit with MMDA
Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders, NCR Philippines

The officers and members of the Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders met with MMDA General Manager Nicolas Torre III to strengthen shared advocacies on road safety.

During the courtesy visit, the club introduced its program on volunteer first responders, sparking a proposed joint project with MMDA through 136 Troopers. Under this initiative, members of the riding community will be trained and equipped by MMDA with first aid and response mechanisms, becoming a force multiplier in service of the Filipino people.

GM Torre also toured the club members at the MMDA Command Center, showcasing how Metro Manila’s major streets are monitored to ensure safety, reduce accidents, and manage traffic flow.

This collaboration is a testament that when two entities truly believe in service above self, good things roll into place. The next step will be the formal signing of the Terms of Reference (TOR) between MMDA and the club β€” all for the benefit of the public.

πŸŽ™οΈ Rotary on Air!

Last July 8, 2026, our very own PP Roderick Lindayag guested at The Pitstop β€” the flagship automotive and lifestyle radio program on Magic 89.9, hosted by Eggay Quesada, Jada, and Wee Gamboa. The show dives deep into the local car scene, aftermarket culture, electric vehicles (EVs), and riding safety.

During the program, PP Roderick proudly promoted the next activity of the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians Philippines (IFMR-PH), where the Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders stands as the mother club.

🏍️ This event continues our mission of fellowship, service, and road safety β€” bringing together riders, communities, and partners in meaningful journeys.

Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders
July 7, 2026 at Rotary Meets Here Motomarket Centris

Under the leadership of our Club President Rtn. Cynthia Chay Macorol, we set our sights on Creating Lasting Impact β€” guided by Rotary’s 7 Areas of Focus: peacebuilding, disease prevention, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education, economic development, and environmental protection.

But beyond these global priorities lies the heart of our club: the riding community. With our flagship program β€œWe Ride, We Care,” we continue to champion road safety in partnership with fellow riders, government agencies, and the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians Philippines (IFMR-PH) β€” where our club proudly stands as the founding chapter.

✌️ We also advocate Peace Rides and initiatives through our partner HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light), with Pres. Cynthia herself serving as one of HWPL’s national leaders.

πŸ’™ Together, we ride not just for passion, but for purpose. Our journey is fueled by fellowship, service, and the drive to make our roads and communities safer, stronger, and more united.

πŸŽ‰ Happy Birthday, Sis. Tina Mendiola! πŸŽ‰

Today we celebrate the amazing Tina Mendiola, known to many as Tina Ryan of Magic 89.9 β€” a seasoned broadcaster and one of the station’s most iconic voices. With over three decades on-air, she has become a beloved figure in Philippine radio, hosting shows that bring the best of music, nostalgia, and community to listeners nationwide.

Beyond the microphone, Tina is also a regular member of the Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders, where she shares her passion for fellowship, service, and the thrill of riding. Her presence in the club embodies the spirit of Rotary β€” combining camaraderie with meaningful action that uplifts communities.

πŸ’™ On your special day, sis Tina, we wish you endless joy, open roads, and more years of inspiring people both on-air and off-air. Thank you for being a voice of positivity and a sister in service.

πŸ“š The Rotary Club of QC Big Bike Riders continues its mission to Create Lasting Impact by extending support to indigenous learners.

πŸ‘§πŸ‘¦ A total of 50 students from Lumutan Elementary School, General Nakar, Quezon and Cacawayan Elementary School, Infanta, Quezon received essential school supplies β€” a gesture that reflects Rotary’s enduring commitment to education and community upliftment.

🌟 Through this initiative, we affirm that every child deserves the tools to learn, grow, and dream. Service above self remains our guiding light as we ride with purpose and care.

The program was headed by Rtn. Bry Aranas who is also a member of the Press Photographers of the Philippines, our partner in the activity.
