Remember Randy and Patchy? They finally found a home, but due to unforeseen circumstances, their adopters are no longer able to care for them. 😔

These two have waited so long to experience what it feels like to have a family, which makes this situation even more heartbreaking. Randy and Patchy are two of the sweetest, most loving cats you could ever meet.

If you have a little space left in your heart or home, we hope you might consider giving Randy and Patchy the second chance they truly deserve. 🙏

Cats of Celandine is now officially closed.
Not because we stopped caring, but because compassion can only carry so much when concerns continue to be ignored.
To everyone who supported us through the years — thank you for standing with us, believing in our cause, and helping us give so many cats a chance at a better life.
We only hope the next people willing to step up are given the support that we never had.

This is one of the reasons we’re urgently trying to find a loving, forever homes for our community cats in Basement 4.

This is one of the reasons we’re urgently trying to find a loving, forever homes for our community cats in Basement 4.

13/04/2026

Last year, our community cats were transferred to Basement Level 4. We did not have any other choice, as this was the only space provided to us. While this was meant to give them shelter, we’ve learned that this environment may actually be putting them and our volunteers at risk.

Why Basement Parking Areas Are Unsafe?
• Carbon monoxide exposure from car exhaust (colorless, odorless, and dangerous)
• Poor ventilation, leading to buildup of harmful fumes and pollutants
• Extreme temperatures and lack of fresh air
• Constant noise and stress from vehicles
• Exposure to toxic substances like oil and antifreeze

For our cats, this can lead to breathing problems, weakness, stress, and serious health risks.

For volunteers, spending long hours in this environment can cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, and long-term health concerns.

We are asking for your help!

Please help our community cats get out of Basement Level 4 and find a safe, loving home where they can breathe fresh air and live healthy lives. We still have 6 cats that are up for adoption.

With heavy hearts, we announce that COC will be closing its doors to ensure the safety of the cats in our care and our volunteers.

12 cats are still waiting for a home—and time is running out. We cannot leave them behind. Please, if you can, step forward and give them the safe and loving home they desperately need.

Adoption is FREE. Please help us save them. 🐾💛

🚨 URGENT: ALL OUR CATS ARE UP FOR ADOPTION! 🚨

This is a long read, but please take a moment—it’s important.

Our cats are at constant risk while staying at Celandine, with nowhere safe to go. We are reaching out to your kind hearts, hoping you might consider opening your home to a cat—or two—and give them the safe, comfortable life they truly deserve, far away from the dangers of Basement 4.

Every adoption is a chance to save a life. 🐾💛

We are currently raising funds to vaccinate 8 community cats. Vaccination protects them from harmful viruses and gives them a better chance at finding loving homes in the future. 💉🐾
Any help, big or small, will go a long way for these little lives. 🙏

Today we celebrate International Rescue Cat Day 🐾✨

In this photo is Sabrina — but she represents so much more than just herself. She stands for every single cat still waiting… waiting for a second chance, waiting for a family, waiting for a place to finally call home. 🥺🤍

Behind every rescued cat is a story of survival, resilience, and hope. And behind every forever home is someone who chose to care.

Here are ways you can help make a difference in the lives of these cats:

1️⃣ Adoption: Open your heart to one or two cats from COC. Give them the safe, loving home they’ve always deserved.

2️⃣ Foster: Help a cat have a comfortable, loving space while waiting for their forever home. Even temporary love makes a lifelong impact.

3️⃣ Donate: We currently have 21 cats in our care. Your donation — big or small — goes directly to food, litter, vet bills, and daily needs. It truly makes a difference.

Together, we can turn “still waiting” into “finally home.” 🏡🐱
Happy International Rescue Cat Day. Let’s keep choosing compassion. 🤍
