IAYSP Pilipinas joins the celebration of World Water Day, observed every March 22, highlighting the importance of clean, safe, and accessible water for all.

Water sustains our health, our communities, and our future. It supports livelihoods, protects ecosystems, and is essential to every aspect of life. Yet, many communities around the world still face challenges in accessing safe and clean water.

This day reminds us of our shared responsibility to conserve, protect, and value water for present and future generations. Every drop matters, and every action counts.

Forests are the lungs of our planet 🌳💚

IAYSP Pilipinas joins the celebration of the International Day of Forests, reminding us of the vital role forests play in sustaining life, protecting biodiversity, and supporting communities around the world.

Forests provide clean air, fresh water, and habitats for countless species. They also play a crucial role in regulating climate and maintaining ecological balance. Despite their importance, forests continue to face threats from deforestation and environmental degradation.

Through our initiatives and continued advocacy, IAYSP Pilipinas remains committed to promoting environmental awareness, encouraging responsible stewardship of natural resources, and supporting efforts that help protect and restore our forests for future generations.

As we celebrate today, we invite everyone to do simple acts that can brighten someone’s day:

A meaningful symposium gathered students to engage in important discussions on health, responsibility, and personal values.

The program featured insightful talks led by Dr. Rey Hikaru Estoce and Dr. Reiko Helen Jane Arellano on Protecting Your Future: HIV Awareness and Responsible Choices for Youth.

This was followed by an inspiring message from Mr. Jun Young Teves, President of IAYSP Pilipinas, on Youth at the Crossroads: Choosing Integrity, Responsibility, and Purpose.

Through discussions on HIV awareness, responsible choices, and youth empowerment, participants gained valuable insights to help them navigate modern challenges and make informed, purpose-driven decisions.

Together, we continue empowering youth to lead with purpose and contribute to a culture of peace.

🩸Reminders Before Donating Blood🩸

Our Blood Donation Drive is happening tomorrow! If you are planning to donate, here are some important reminders to help you prepare for a safe and smooth donation experience.

Preparation:
✔ Get enough sleep (7–8 hours)
✔ Eat a healthy meal before donating
✔ Stay hydrated and drink plenty of water
✔ Bring a valid ID
✔ Wear comfortable clothes (short sleeves preferred)

Eligibility Requirements:
✔ 18–65 years old
✔ At least 110 lbs (50 kg)
✔ No alcohol 24 hours before donating
✔ No smoking at least 2 hours before donating
✔ Female donors: 1 week before or after menstrual period
