AMURT and AMURTEL answered the call to support families affected by the fire in Tumana, Marikina. Our volunteers came together to prepare and serve 350 warm meals and distribute water, and other essential items to those who needed it most.

In the evacuation area, families are facing uncertainty, yet their strength and resilience continue to inspire us. Being there to share even a simple meal became a reminder that no one is alone in times of crisis.

To all the individuals and institutions who continue to support us thank you for your trust, your generosity, and your unwavering care for our communities. Your kindness reaches far beyond what words can express.

Together, we continue to bring light in difficult times.

Love is all there is.

AMURT and AMURTEL conducted our second response to the fire that broke out on NIA Road, Quezon City, which affected around 4,000 families.

During our first engagement at the evacuation area, one resident shared with us the heartbreaking sequence of how the fire started and spread until they lost everything. Stories like this remind us how important it is to stand together and support communities during difficult times.

We continue to extend our gratitude to everyone who supports and helps make this response possible. Your kindness and solidarity bring hope to those who need it most.

We will do same response on saturday. If you want to help. Please contact us.

In commemoration of Nilakantha Divas, AMURT and AMURTEL volunteers visited Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) in Las Piñas. Our volunteers served nutritious vegetarian meals and facilitated inspirational activities, sharing love, compassion, and care with the community.

The visit was a meaningful opportunity to spread kindness, uplift spirits, and remind everyone that they are valued and remembered.

On February 28, 2026, dedicated AMURT volunteers shared warm meals and kindness with homeless brothers and sisters in Quezon City. What may seem like a small act can bring hope, dignity, and a reminder that no one is forgotten.

Our AMURT team will continue this service again next weekend, reaching out to more disadvantaged people in our community.

Update:

Our infrastructure project in Malapascua, Cebu, Philippines is now progressing.

After many delays, the construction of the two-gender toilet for the evacuation center, which will also serve the kindergarten of Brgy. Logon, Malapascua Island, is finally moving forward. This project was originally conceptualized after the earthquake on the island, but its implementation had to be postponed several times, especially after three typhoons struck the island last November. Getting materials delivered by boat has also been a major challenge.

Despite everything, we now have real progress, and we are scheduled to finish very soon.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone whose support keeps us volunteers going.
Thank you to all AMURT members worldwide.
And a special thank you to Engr. Manuel and Melly Santos for sponsoring this infrastructure project.
