On behalf of AMURT - Ananda Marga Universal Relief Team and AMURTEL, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors and volunteers for your unwavering support, generosity, and dedication. Because of your kindness, we were able to conduct a mass feeding, psychosocial program for children, and relief distribution for the families of Purok Tanda, Barangay San Jose, General Santos City, on June 22, 2026, following the recent earthquakes.

The community was severely affected by the disaster. The roads leading to the area were badly damaged, making it difficult for families to access food, clean water, and other basic necessities. The community also remains at high risk of landslides, as the earthquakes caused extensive ground fissures, leaving many homes and surrounding areas unsafe for residents.

Most of the residents are farmers, tricycle drivers, and members of the Tboli Indigenous community. Their livelihoods have been greatly affected by the disaster, and many families are struggling to rebuild their lives while facing uncertainty about their safety and future.

Your compassion and selfless service brought not only essential relief but also hope, comfort, and joy to the children and families during this difficult time. Your generosity reminded them that they are not alone and that people from near and far genuinely care about their well-being.

This humanitarian mission would not have been possible without your invaluable support. Thank you for standing with us and helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.

Last July 18, 2026, AMURT volunteers responded to the needs of families affected by the fire at Culiat Bridge, Congressional Road, Bahay Toro, Quezon City, where more than 60 families were displaced.

Our team prepared and distributed 250 hot meals and drinks to provide comfort and support during this difficult time.

The volunteers also extended their efforts to individuals still living in tents and makeshift shelters along NIA Road, Quezon City, where many continue to face hardship after previous fire incidents.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this mission possible.

Together, we can continue bringing hope, one act of kindness at a time.

AMURT Philippines Earthquake Response

In the aftermath of the 7.8 earthquake that struck General Santos City and Sarangani, AMURT volunteers from across the Philippines came together to carry out a full-cycle humanitarian response. Many families have lost their lives, while countless others have been displaced from their homes.

Despite difficult terrain and challenging conditions, our dedicated volunteers traveled long distances and crossed hard-to-reach areas to bring relief and hope to affected communities. As AMURT volunteers, we are committed to reaching the unreachable and serving those who need help the most.

From Sarangani to Barangay Bawing, General Santos City, our volunteers have worked tirelessly to support affected residents with compassion and dedication.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and helped make this mission possible, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness and generosity have made a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.

Our AMURT and AMURTEL volunteers from different parts of the country responded to the communities affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Sitio Tagaytay, Brgy. New Aklan, Sarangani.

The situation on the ground is heartbreaking. Many homes and community facilities have been severely damaged and can no longer be occupied. Some victims are still missing, and reaching the affected areas has been difficult due to damaged roads and challenging conditions.

In response, our volunteers conducted Psychosocial First Aid activities to help children cope with trauma and reconnect with their new community in the evacuation centers. Through games, yoga, creative activities, and emotional support, we helped transform moments of fear into meaningful and positive experiences.

Our team also distributed essential relief items, including food, water containers, cooking wares, and other basic necessities to affected families.

This humanitarian response would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of our local supporters, donors, and partners who provided financial assistance, relief goods, logistics, and international support. We are deeply grateful to everyone who stood with us during this emergency, including the different AMURT sectors, AMSAI AMURT UK, and our local supporters.

Service to Humanity is Service to God.
