๐ข NOTICE: ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS & HYBRID/REMOTE LEARNING DIRECTIVE
Malacaรฑang has issued Memorandum Circular No. 135, implementing alternative work arrangements for government offices and alternative learning modes for schools (all levels, public and private) on September 10, 2026, due to continuous heavy rainfall from the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
๐ Covered Areas:
NCR (National Capital Region)
La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro
๐ผ Government Work:
Alternative Work Arrangements: Directed in all listed areas.
Essential Services: Agencies handling basic/health services, disaster preparedness/response, and vital functions will remain operational.
COS & JO Workers: Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers under alternative arrangements will receive their corresponding wages/salaries.
๐ซ Schools:
Alternative Learning Modes: Implemented across all levels in public and private schools, unless otherwise declared by Local Chief Executives.
๐ข Private Sector:
Work suspension or adoption of alternative work arrangements is left to the discretion of individual management/employers.
