Last October 5, 2025, the Rotaract Clubs of Rotary International District 3780 gathered for their highly anticipated 1st District Meeting at the Rotary Center Cubao. The event was led by none other than District Rotaract Representative (DRR) Veronique Lolarga, setting the tone for a bold and purpose-driven day.

Adding prestige and inspiration to the gathering was the presence of District Governor (DG) Veronica Yu, whose powerful message reaffirmed the district’s commitment to service and leadership.

This milestone meeting featured a thorough discussion of the district calendar, highlighting key events, timelines, and opportunities for collaboration. Attendees also tackled the critical criteria for club performance and project alignment, ensuring that every Rotaract club is set up for success throughout the term.

𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗸 — signifying that they’ve been immunized. Inspired by the global Purple Pinkie Project, the Rotaract Club of Metro Aurora Youth Advocates brings this spirit closer to home through our fundraising initiative, 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲: 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀, $𝟭 𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲.

With only three simple steps, you can join the fight against polio:

1️⃣ Donate at least $1 / ₱60 — the cost of one polio vaccine — to help save a life and support Rotary International’s mission to eradicate polio.
2️⃣ Tie a purple ribbon around your pinkie as your 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 to end polio.
3️⃣ Take a photo of your pinkie with the purple ribbon and post it on your Facebook or Instagram with the hashtags and and — don’t forget to tag us!

Held last September 9, 2025, via Google Meet, the Rotaract Club of Metro Aurora Youth Advocates successfully conducted its Rotaract 101 — an orientation and refresher course designed for new and seasoned members.

More than just an orientation, it was an opportunity to reconnect with the heart of Rotaract — to reflect on the "why" behind service, and to strengthen the shared vision that unites us as people of action.

Following the successful District Rotaract Representative (DRR) visit, the Rotaract Club of Metro Aurora Youth Advocates proudly held its Handover and Induction Ceremonies last September 13. The milestone event brought together members, guests, and partners in service to witness a meaningful celebration of leadership, growth, and unity.

On this occasion, United President Kristine Bautista was formally inducted, together with the newly elected officers, new members, and honorary members — marking the start of another chapter in the club’s journey of advocacy and service.

🌎 From powerful discussions to empowering conversations, Sigwa ng Pagbabago: Youth Storm for Climate Action became a true spark for change. We came together not just to listen — but to learn, challenge, and commit. In a time when the climate crisis demands urgent action, we showed up with passion, purpose, and power.

Massive thanks to our incredible speakers — Ms. Erika Valencia who shed light on the urgency of Advancing SDG 13 (Climate Action) in the Philippine context, challenging us to localize global goals, Mr. Charles Gil, who discussed the current state of Disaster Risk Reduction in the Philippines, equipping us with practical tips and strategies to stay prepared, and Mr. CJ Tabara, who reminded us of the powerful role the youth play in climate action, proving that young voices are not just valuable — it is transformative.

A special shoutout to our awesome partners, the Rotaract Club of Cubao and Kilos Ko Youth, for standing with us in turning advocacy into action. 🤝💚
