Noong Nov. 20 , habang sinasagawa ang TUCP Council Meeting , PGEA requested TUCP Partylist Deputy Speaker Cong. Reymund Mendoza to file a Bill to increase PERA from 2K to 7K or an additional of 5k on PERA.

At kasabay ng paggunita sa National Government Employees Week, pormal na inihain ni Deputy Speaker at TUCP Party-list Representative Raymond Democrito Mendoza ng Dagdag PERA Bill o House Bill 6537.

Layon nitong itaas at gawing gawing permanente ang Personnel Economic Relief Allowance (PERA) ng mga kawani ng pamahalaan.

Sa kaniyang panukalang itataas ang PERA mula β‚±2,000 tungong β‚±7,000.

May probisyon din ito para magpatupad ng automatic inflation adjustment alinsunod sa itatakda ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM), at tiyaking ang PERA ay hindi kailanman mababawasan.

Mananatili din itong non-taxable at hindi sasailalim sa anumang government-mandated deductions.

Punto ng mambabatas ang Dagdag PERA Bill ay isang mahalagang hakbang para sa salary increase ng government employees, cost-of-living support, economic relief, at pangmatagalang proteksyon sa kita ng mga public servants sa gitna ng patuloy na pagtaas ng presyo ng bilihin sa bansa.
