Why is a coastal cleanup still necessary?

Coastal ecosystems like the Las Piñas - Parañaque Wetland Park play a vital role in protecting biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance in Manila Bay. As an internationally recognized wetland and an important habitat for migratory birds and marine life, the area requires continuous care and stewardship. In addition, the wetland serves as a designated habitat that helps manage bird movement away from nearby airport flight paths, contributing to aviation safety and protects important economic infrastructure.

Through initiatives like this, ACPAFSI demonstrates that sustainability is not only an advocacy we speak about—it is a responsibility we actively practice.
